Spiritualism is considered as force in helping to open the minds and hearts of the people of the world. The message is that we are each individually responsible for developing our spirit and helping others develop theirs.

Don't all religions ask the individual to focus on one thing....improving thy self? What else is there other than developing ones spirit and spreading the word to other people?

what do they mean by developing their spirit?

I mean that a person develops his/her self due to the understandings of religion.
Following what has been ordained by God and thus spreading those tachings in whatever religion that individual believes in.

Yes, I did.....and it's brillant........after all the do and don't's of all the religious dogma......I wonder if there is much left in the human spirit.......

Hmmm....i was considering it more in that most religions ask the individual to do the same thing. Develop thy self and spread the word and i have already mentioned what i mean by 'develop'

'Spread the word' of the religion you believe in has always been a cause of wars through out the world !!!!

There is always more than one reason to start a war, but as you said imposing ones ideas and beliefs on other could be a start
