Could it be -- that I turned his acidic attacks into opportunities to calmly discuss a religion that is largely unknown/misunderstood in the Islam world? I guess I was supposed to be defensive and flutter in a helpless, female fashion :rolleyes:

Could it be -- that, because he couldn't reasonably attack my beliefs, he made things up, and attacked the lies? I guess that made me look less like an idiot than he had hoped, and made him look like more of a jerk than he had hoped ...

Could it be -- because he was unable or unwilling to answer the questions I asked in return?

For instance: "Believe in God" - does this disagree with the teachings of your religion? In what way? "take responsiblity for your actions" - does this disagree with the teachings of your religion? In what way? What is the alternative teaching that you feel is superior?

I'm not sure why these were threatening questions to a learned muslim like Orion...

Oh stop it. It's far better to argue OVER a matter of principle than AS a matter of principle.

Let's face it, you were bored with Wanderer's er..."abrasive" finger-pointing at the discrepancies in many Muslims' beliefs, and picked a fight with Moonie to show what it feels like.

But your heart ain't in it. You don't believe half of what you posted, you love Moonie really, and don't give a badger's bell-end what she does or doesn't believe in. So you might as well leave it alone. :)
