There's a movie that most probably none of you has heard of. It's a sci-fi movie called Solar Crisis which was made in 1990 or thereabouts financed by the Japanese because it's based on novel by a famous Japanese writer . At that time it had a budget of $55 million and rumors are it might have ended up costing as much as $100 million. It was never released in theatres and went straight to video where apparently no one rented it either. It has the distinction of being the biggest budgeted movie to go directly to video and probably one of the biggest bombs of all time. But because it wasn't financed by one of the big Hollywood studios and only stars a bunch of B grade actors it will never appear on lists of All Time Hollywood Failures.
