Every one of us .. either in Oman or out is considered an Omani ambassoder .. we all should always give good views about Oman and never talk or act in a way that make people have a bad impression about Oman.
yes Oman have problems and everwhere too .. when we talk bad about our own country to strangers ( people not form Oman ) we give them the right to talk bad about Oman ..
I say this because when I see all these people in al sabla an din real life when hey picture the life in Oman as a living hell .. beleive me .. when I read thier posts I feel sometimes they are talking about somewhere out of Oman .. I am not talking about the english sabla .. but the arabic sable ..
any way , just wanted to share this point of view here .. and see what u think about it ?!

Discuss problems and NOT complain about them - Disscussing
I mean is, Trying To find Reasons Leading to that Problem, and Soulutions ! and that way , Reduce the Complainable things happanening in oman! Outside Oman , when People Ask you ,you can Either be So Bold in what you feel and think about your Country ! but then , Its inside Everyone that when someone From ELse where asks about you about your Country you probably would say all the Good things ! ( all countries have that , its just a % Difference ) you can mention it in away , indicating you are Planning to Solve that point ! and Do try to For Real !

Well .. I do not know dear princess naj if u join the arabic sabla or not .. go there and see how much people are complainiting .. they are not discussing .. sometimes they say somethings that are not reasonable just for thew sake of complainting .. as if it the only reason why sabla existed ..
Yes I agree completly with u .. sabla if is for discusing , sabla is for colving the problems that we have .. not just a palce when I am mad at this person in this certain place I say that the whole place is crap !
About talking about our coutries in a bad way .. I mean if we kept on complaining and complaining and complaining to others without showing what assets and what good things we have to others what would they think ?? wouldnt they think Oman is an livable country? and poor Omani people who live in tahta country !! ..
Ok I know I have a very high and maybe egzagerating sense of nationality and I simply cannot accept anyone saying anything bad about Oman .. I know it's thier right but Oman is my lovely home ..
again .. we are ambassoders and we are the one who will people get information about oman from .. so please give a bright look about Oman .. at least to strangers !

lets mention first that I would talk in a wider point of view instead of concentrating on what's goes in Arabic Sablah because I am not familiar with it although I do join occasionally.

There is a thin line between complaining, criticising, and constructing through discussed conversations. If you are certain that your words weight 0.00 then you better safe them. <b>If there is a chance that your words might just change something then make sure they change things to a better dimension not to a worse situation.</b> embarrassing us is different from telling us our mistakes, they create hatred and improvement respectively.

About being ambassador, “al7aq yoqal” and like English says “ we don't advice you to live here because you will hate everything when feeling the miserable weather” so there is no harm of saying to them “Make sure to hire a car and be careful while driving in Oman because our transport service is poor and most of our high ways still not up to a safe quality standards”.

At the end I believe in free speech but we need everybody to understand that “your freedom ends as soon as you start to steal somebody else’s freedom”.

What I meant by being ambassoder it that sometimes it is just indivual thinking.. I do not mean you cover completly the abd things Oman has .. as I said each country ahs bad and good things .. But what I mean is that dont keep on saying things taht sometimes just spoil the image of Oman and Omanis ..
ok let me tell you an example .. few months back I was sitting with some friends who study in the UK .. and they were talking about something and suddnly they came to the topic of gays .. aha .. and then they started laughing and saying that in UK everybody knows that most Omanis are gays .. and that it came to the extent that the word Omani between people has become an insult as if u say that the guy is a gay .. is that true ?!!! .. another time a friend was telling me that it is known that oman if famous of it's gay people ..
is that true?? in my opion completly not .. because I have calculated it .. if we have 10000 gay people it is still consist of 0.5 % .. I know it is not an easy problem and it should be solved but it just to show that it cannot be called most of people !!
that what I mean by being ambassoders .. try to change the image people might have created because of somthing else .. try to be proud of being Omani instead of saying things that will do anything but to spoil the image of beatiful Oman !!! .. if there is anything bad .. sya it but say it proud that you know it is a problem and it is going to be solved like any other problem .. not like a fate that it will never change !!!
