When you watch a trailer of a movie, you'll so want to go watch the movie on the first day, first show.
But, when you watch it ... you'll feel 'everything that was good about the movie, was in the trailers'.
Kinda like those action flicks, where most of the interesting stunts are already shown on the trailers.
...
So, can we really watch trailers and hit the movies ... or do you wait for a couple of days to pass before a guinea pig watches the movie first and tells you how it went?

Some trailers show you not just the best bits from the movie, but the ending too. Have you seen the trailer for The Italian Job? The **** thing shows you the entire story!
i always check the reviews in the internet movie database (imbd) after waching a trailer. they usually give good reviews.

If I'm excited about a movie I don't need any reviews, I'll go see it anyhow. If I haven't heard about a movie I'd go to rottentomatoes.com, imbd.com or movies.yahoo.com. Either way, I love reading reviews after I see a movie. I don't read review synopsis, I prefer full reviews. I check out Roger Ebert, Dave Poland, Jeff Wells, Salon.com and the New York Times.

Yeah, thats so true Shinoda..
I just go and watch the movie, if it sounds nice. If I'm not so sure, I'll wait for a couple of days until someone says its worth watching. Otherwise, why waste my time watching something thats not interesting at all. ;)

As long as the trailer looks good, I'd go for it. Sometimes if a movie seems to be just OK, I would ask some friends about it and if I hear many different opinions (good, bad, etc) then I'd probably end up checking up on some reviews online.
I just HATE going to a movie and not enjoying it. I'd rather not watch it at all if it wasn't very exciting or interesting.

Phoeny ... have you watched the trailer of SWAT? Its nice.
But imagine the thought of going to the hall and getting bored, when latter you learn that 'all of the interesting parts of the movie was in the trailer'. There was nothing else to enjoy.
Dunno about SWAT ... this was just an example. :bored:

Personaly I care about the story & the script of the movie which they show it in brief in the trailer & if it is my style I'll go for it directly, but if it isn't I wont waste my time;) .
in most cases if not all the best parts of the movies are shown in the trailers but regardless if i like the trailers i go see the movie even if it turned out to be bad and that's why to me the best part about going to the movie is watching the trailers :color:
i enjoy watching movie trailers , but i'd rather not , cause as many mentioned here... sometimes most of the movie and all the best scenes are in the **** thing.. which kinda spoils it when u actually watch the real thing!
