i dont actually remember how i got to the site omania.net but i guess it was thru a friend because of the arabic sablah.

I visited the arabic sablah but i didnt feel like joining then i noticed the english sablah and i liked it... so here is my story of how i became a member here and proud of it! :D

well .. I was joining the arabic sablah and knew it from a friend .. and since i cant contribute to the arabic sablah came to the english one .. and here all the story :)

well..Last year.

My sister sent me the arabic sabla's site by email...and as the same with you all..I checked it and noticed the english one, and here we go :)

When i did join Arabic Sabla, it takes a while until i found out there is English sabla due to hiding small writting where it says clich here if you...etc..

and hear are we as other i start to enjoy the site.

My brother kept on talking about Omania.net all the time.. and how the arabic sabla talks about everything.. and you are free to express your ideas.. so i thought of takign a closer look at it.. i went to arabic sabla then i noticed another icon on the side written in english.. i click it.. and here i am!!!

well, just like most of you, i happen to know about the English Sabla from the Arabic one, i heard a lot about it and one day visited it, i noticed a banner on top which mentioned that their is a Sabla now in English, i went to it and became a member that same time!

the place was so different than how is it right now! they were 60 members with only 5 sabla's... with these few members the place was so quiet! we would get 5 posts a day! the kewl thing was that Saeed used to visit us too!

With the 5 Sabla (Politics & Religion, General Sabla, Fine Art Sabla, Sport Sabla, Computer Sabla) they were 4 moderators with the Fine Art Sabla having no moderator... so i nominated myself for the job and got support from the members of the Sabla, Thug4Life, and Mandaze.

Being a moderator i had to join the sabla more often, and thats what i did! in the same time, i wanted to encourage members to post more in other sabla.

A moderator has total control on his/her sabla only and i noticed that some topics needed to be move/edit in other sablas but wasn't done! i bugged Saeed with this till he made me a moderator of the General Sabla too! so then i was moderating 2 sablas.

Then came a sudden change to the whole system of the sabla, as we see it now! with the new moderators and having an Admin who would make the place a better place with improvements!

so thats the story of how i came to know about the place and how i became a moderator! sorry for boring you! :)

thats nice kazy.. well im sure you made a big change in this sabla and i mean from 60 memebers to more then 1000 wow you really must have worked out really hard.. keep up the good job..

its not only me who speaks about the sabla, with kewl topics this place will attract more ppl, with kewl members too :) just like SoMe1!!!

Long time ago, a guy was writing in the Arabic Sablah in English and the moderator there was ungry and accused that guy of showing off!!!?? and said to him,
YAKHI this is Arabic Sablah, if you are so good in English you can go to the English Sablah, don't show off.
Then, I browsed omania.net to find the link to the English sablah

well tripletee came over so that we'd "study" math, instead, she was like: hey i wanna check somethin in the net.. so i was like: yea sure
then we went online n i noticed that she was reading something that caught my eye so i asked her abt it n i joined !

LOL... haha...see!!... I can't keep from visiting this site even at my friend's house :D... I was told about the english sabla by another friend... never visited omania.net... but was encouraged to join in this one...day by day I got more addicted :p :)

lost my password for some reason then sabla had a makeover and now i'm back i guess :p

When Senorita was using the computer I was next to her, and I saw her surfing in English Sabla, I really liked it, then I decided to join :) And now am addicted to it!

...Well to tell u the truth it was a nice sunny day outside around 2pm and i decided to go online on msn than so i see my friend 5alfanooh online talkin to him about life and stuff like that and as usually trying to look for something so we can argue lol...anyhow he told me to come join sabla forum im like WTH is sabla hes like dewaniya im like OMG that sounds chill i love DEWANIYAT lolz than he told me it was Omani but u speak English there im like Omani :S eeerr dont know much about em all i know is that it has this place thats nice lol....s0o0o anyhow tried it out and im still here so0o im guessin i like it here :cute: lol long story short 5alfanoooh told me about it

i knew sabla from monkitte,dodikita and my other friends who r in sabla..they used to talk about it and i had no idea so i decided to join then i liked it!

A couple of my classmates told me about it and I was like "what's so interesting about this forum...gotta check it out" =P

u know we live in a small country :p ,, + kamakazy is my cousin , so i heard about it ,, and many of my cousins registered and told me about it ,, and i regestered because i have many free hours in my day :)

Right after the war, when the Iraqi blog explosion happened, I read a lot of the new Iraqi blogs. Fascinating! Some were pro-American others anti-American but there were very interesting people on both sides and I learned a lot. It was soooo interesting to see Iraqi bloggers discussing the war with American soldiers and their families!

From there I found a few other Arab blogs and blogs about Arab things. One day, I found a comment by "Arabian Princess." And I went to her blog.

I loved it! I like her so much and I was impressed with her English. What a wonderful person. She was very nice to me in her comments and we became friends. And she mentioned to me several times about "English Sabla" and suggested that I might enjoy it.

At first I thought it was for Omanis practising their English and that I might be able to help. :-D :-D looooool! I think you guys can probably help me with my English!

Anyway, here I am.

I've helped lots of people who were studying it, but I'm not a formal English teacher.
