View Full Version : Arabic Or Normal ?
Everyone has its own taste in perfmes and everyone prefer a perfum than another..
SO what do u guys prefer:
Arabic Perfums: Such as Aoud, mukhalat, bokhour.
Normal one's: Such as french perfums...etc for example Ck, CD, Armani...
u know some ppl like to mix perfums, like doing bokhour with french perfum..
Like I said in you other thread. I love parfums , I love oils , I love aromatheraphy, I love bokhour...its the whole deal for me.
Libellula 31-07-03, 05:27 PM I'm not really into oud and bokhour and all that. :)
Silver Angel 31-07-03, 05:32 PM well am in Both! i use french perfumes when i go out quickly o 7alla but sometimes when am going somewhere special i use all of then bu5oor 3oud and french ones :p :)
Am not into those oud and stuff.... i prefer the Normal ones as u call it.
But then i do use the arabic ones when it comes to eid and such similar occasions.

Arabic perfums are more like heavy perfums..it has that arabic taste , mostly Aoud taste.
Because they are heavy thats why we dont call it normal, and its not for all ppl, its specially for arabs only, as most of western dont like it i guess..
4-ever-young 02-08-03, 09:56 AM well i use both..it just depends on the time that i am going out..if it is the mornings then light perfumes..and everning i either do a mix or just use the arabic ones such as ood
Arabian Princess 02-08-03, 01:45 PM 3 years back .. I used to prefer other perfumes .. but Now, I am in love with arabic scents ..

H-Highness 02-08-03, 02:13 PM I'm very much into normal cool perfumes (french ones) you name it. I don't know why I'm tasteless in arabic fragrance and simply can't stand them since majority are too strong. :eyes:

Now adays and especialy here in the Gulf countries the arabic perfums competing western perfums which is full of chemicals and alcohol as well.
The arabic perfums also cheaper and have stronger smell.
Libellula 02-08-03, 05:25 PM The only problem with arabic perfumes is that they are too strong and heavy.. so you can't use them too early in the day.
As for me, they make my nose twitch. :duh:

They all got their beauty in a way. So if we take Arabic perfumes they are nice to put them when you are heading to a wedding - or you want to bakher your room - closet -cloth, or even ur own husband's dishdashas, caps and so on. I tend to feel that Arabic perfumes are where over lasting than the French ones. Thats why Arabic perfumes are not which where you can always wear - as they are as well too strong.
But when it comes to French perfumes - i believe morning times and on ur daily bases of life you can use them. I do know that they come as well in strong options however not like the Arabic ones.
Anyway at the end of the day - it all goes to ones prefrence. Some would say Arabic is way better and the other way round.
I love perfumes - and sure use the arabic ones for really speciale occations!
