Libellula 03-08-03, 08:04 PM Usually wax at Daksha's once a month. If I'm in a hurry or desperate, then I'd shave my legs. It sometimes irritates my skin and I start itching, but what to do..? :angre: ~*FaiThFuL*~ 03-08-03, 08:44 PM Wax... its very painful though and takes a evry long time and ya cant go to the saloon at anytime.. so I sometimes shave, even though I know its bad for the skin or so my mom tells me :tiered: Neena 03-08-03, 10:11 PM Waxing is the best thing no matter what you say. Anything besides honey wax and suger I don't really agree on. Shaving is the very good way to become a man probably even worse than them :D Your skin becomes really raugh and Ogly where when you waxits all smoothy and nice and I just love the feeling "at least that what my husband says!!! And yes i do it once a month - many times i would do it by my self unless i get lazy i just go to the saloon! Libellula 03-08-03, 10:30 PM How come you guys say that waxing hurts?! It doesn't hurt one bit for me.. :lost: I hardly feel it. Only thing is, the wax might be a little hot which can burn your skin, but as for pulling the hair out, it's painless. But those who have fine hair and not a lot they experience the pain very lil. However I do agree on that there are some locations of the body where no matter how much you have been waxing or how many years you would still go through pain example armpet - pikini line u want me to even go more?! Naa i guess i should just stop there and the rest should be understood!!:D  reena 04-08-03, 08:03 PM i hate hair , so for those who can't stand hair i find the perfect weapon: first is waxing, there is nothing better and when it's done by a professional it doesn't hurt. then there is the magic machine it's called " silk epil de braun , it removes the hair when they are 2mm long and it lasts for 4 weeks, Scottish Gal 04-08-03, 09:14 PM You said it for me Reena! Libellula 07-08-03, 07:13 AM How often do you guys remove your body hair? We use creams, and waxes .. all sorts of ways to get rid of those distracting unwanted hair.. There's this method that you use to get rid of the unwanted hair forever,, what is it exactly? Do you know how it works? How much it cost? Is it guranteed that those hair won't come back? Does it work for all the body parts? Do you do it once, or do you have to go through sessions? Whatever you know about it,, fill me in please. Thanks :) Neena 13-09-03, 11:09 PM There is this so called " EPILA LASER HAIR REMOVER - High-Power Semiconductor Laser system " if you want the whole infromation please click on this site: http://www.gopio.net/wboard/messages/11231.html (http://) Capricorna 16-09-03, 01:56 AM Wax , but if i'm in a hurry and i've got No time then Shave :( floret 16-09-03, 05:24 PM salaam all :) I read somewhere that machines used for hair removal cause cancer.. donno.. but better be away from them.. qais 16-09-03, 05:29 PM I shave:D Solmaaz 16-09-03, 06:41 PM What is Daksha's ? It sounds like "baloushy" word!! Daksha is a typical Indian name. Waxing is the best form of hair removal for women though it can be a bit painful for those with strong hair roots. The saloon that I normally go to tells me not to wash myself after the waxing since the pores are quite open and using warm water can be harmful. So plenty of lotion to cool down the skin and after a few hours you may take a shower with cool water. I think the most painful part is the facial threading - I always hold a tissue for those tears..... :) Endure Whisper 17-09-03, 12:32 AM Originally posted by Solmaaz I think the most painful part is the facial threading - I always hold a tissue for those tears..... :) Oops :( I was just planning to make an appointment for the upper lip threading, as it's going to be my first time..
