I was fine today until I heard some news that made me feel uncomfortable, then I received this sms, and I thought how true it is, we have a lot of things to be thankful for. I'm thankful for being me, I'm thankful for having a wonderful family, I'm thankful for my good health, I'm thankful for having many friends, I'm thankful for many things, and I can go on and on and on...
What do you think guys? I know it's not the usual love talk but it would be great if you give your input here!;)

Very true, there is always a reason for anything that does happen, a positive side to it.

And we always have something to be thankful for. We can simply be thankful for breathing this Oxygen freely, alhamdullah. Dr N mentioned alot of good reasons here... and we all have many many more from very small to very big reasons to be thankful for something.

Exactly..we just should be thankful...but u know what , sometimes u really feel sad and lonley that u dont even want to live anymore in this life..but as soon as my thoughts changes.

i am thankful and feel blessed for so many things in my life..and especially for my friends who i know that they're gonna be there for me no matter what.. during the good or bad. and infact i feel thankful this moment for the sabla ..cause it brough so many good people into my life..who stood by me..during some very difficult situations.

going through difficult times makes u cherish the simplest things u've got..and am thankful for those times ...cause they made me realise that.

Nabhan, what you said was truely touching. A lot of times we're just way too angry to see the wonderful things that we have, we keep complaining about things and we miss the beauty and forget to cherish what's there in front of us!

Alhamdulillah I'm thankful for every blessing i have either i'm noticing it or not. I especially feel the blessing when i see people deprived from it.

we should actually be thankful for anything that we get or have.... even if we are expecting things but then didnt turn the way we watned them to turn, there's always a reason behind everything .......

well we humans are known to be very greedy and we always look above us to see what others have and we dont..why dont we for a change look below us and be thankful for what we have..even though to us it might see like nothing but others believe me wish that they had what we have. So we should be thankful for everything as one day we might find our selves with nothing!

This is a good reminder for ourselves to appreciate what we have because someone out there does not even have half of the quarter of what we have. To add a little more on what 4eva said; Humans are also known to have lack of patience of everything which indeed makes them lose the +ve side of surroundings.

I think Allah has given me so much that i dont even have space to complain....Even if he takes away something from me today i'll consider it as another of his blessings....Allahu akbar.

I am thankful for everything that I been through..ma life , ma family ,ma friends..etc . I am greatly thankful for da challenges that i have seen ,which build up my strength and character, thankful for my mistakes which taught me valuable lessons.
