Whenever someone mentions graphic design, most people instantly think of Adobe Photoshop. Just thought that I'd let you guys know that there are other programs which are just as good as Adobe PS.

I have been using Jasc Paint Shop Pro for about 4 years now. (http://www.jasc.com). It has just as many features as PS does, and it is mich more easier for beginners to start with.

The latest release is version 8. I'm using PSP7. I started off with version 3 and I've upgraded over the years. You can download a free evaluation/trial at the website.

I bought the CD, though ;)


So anyone who's interested in graphic design and wants to start out; why not try this?
