Because there would be no lies! You see everything that the other person is thinking of, they can't hide anything from you!
Would be great because words can't always express what you feel, but you can definitly do that with your thoughts.
But it has to be with one special person!!

Thinking about it, there are many people who can really understand what is going on in someones mind, if they knew that person very very well, they wouldn't have to speak, they would just understand each other just by looking, just shows how strong the bond really is!

i dont think its a very good idea. cause there wouldnt be any secrets anymore. sometimes u just wanna keep things private..and to urself. if everyone had this power then no one would have a private life.

i believe in this way of communication, and in fact most of us experience it to some varying degree
haven't u ever knew what is going on ur prents mind by looking at them or just after a special event has taken a place ?
haven't u ever in school knew what is ur teacher is going to say or to do just by looking at him ?
don't u know how does ur partner feel and what is going in her mind even if u r just chatting with her and he/she says nothing ??

I think that telepathy can be very useful in all sorts of things.
First off, as Dr. N mentioned, there would be no lies. Everything would be crystal clear and you'd know the truth all the time. No deceit, no trickery, no falseness.

Also, this would help in improving communication between people. You'd know what your friend/partner wants and thinks, which allows you to improve your relationship.

imagine how would be ur life when every one around u know what r u thinking about at that moment and what r u thinking about..Ur friend...Boss..wanderer..etc?:duh:

thug, not EVERYONE, maybe just one special person, who's linked to you by a strong bond, someone you wouldn't dare hide anything from, I find it rather interesting if I was able to talk to this special person just through my thoughts, even in public, I wouldn't have to say anything in front of anyone, just my thought to this persons thought!

Or maybe you can choose who gets to know and read your thoughts, and be able to block those who shouldn't read them!

if everyone in the world was telepathic then I don't think it would be very nice. If it were between two people then it would be okay. I wouldn't want to be walking around and have people screening my personal thoughts all the time.

Telepathy doesnt mean that all your thoughts are clear and everyone can know them, telepathy means that you can communicate with certain people without actually saying a word.

I beleive in it, but I beleive it happens when you know the person very well ..

I think I have telepaty with few people .. me and my cousin used to look at eash other and understand what she meant .. even if the surrounding didnt relate to what we want to say ..

my sister has the same thing with me .

with my husband its differnet, when I need him so much and he is not around, out of no where he would call or send a message .. as if he knew that I called him.

I think it happens with the relation between and the other person is strong and maybe there are viprations or something .. I dont know!

I came up with this idea, it's so unreal, but try and imagine how cool it would be if you could choose who can read your thoughts, and block others, it would be rather fun, though this can never be true!

I dont think you create it .. it happens when the relationship with the person is so strong ..

Telepathy would just really take communications to the next level, but somehow i don't think things would change all that much as a result....except for the obvious benefits of speed etc.

It's a fact that we only use a incredibly small percentage of our brains...suppose we already have the ability to telepathise but just don't realise it?

So its not really "mind reading", because mind reading would mean you could read anyones mind whether they wanted you to do so or not. Its basically, sending your thoughts to a certain person who is willing to receive them. ;)

Some how I feel like Dejavu or whatever they call it! and spell it
has some connection with our Inner hidden Brain function that is not used...Just like telepathy!

With everything, there's an advantage and a disadvantage. Like in this case, the world will be pure with no lies,, but also there will be no secrets!!
