ive seen poems.........n ive seen rapping...... but-

it all involves a sorta beat to the words
and rhyming
but.. maybe sumtimez u swear when u rap but theres no rule saying u cant swear when you write poetry-right?
anyway since nobody said anything abt rappin and i think it IZ n art then maybe you should sart talkin abt it
i think its a good way to bring up that topic:)

well I think in rap they concintrate more into the beat and the ryme..rythum and words as well!

Not every poem can become music But every rap can come out to be music!

Now as much as the lyric or a rap deep and strong..Much of it becomes a poem!

example: 2pac was a poet! he studied poetry!...look at the lyrics he made...All deep!

Poems are more comprehensive and More into everything

In my opinion Rap is a field within poems!

Rap hmmmm ..
Some of rappers do rap poetically but the only thing that I have noticed is that there is a lot of swearing in it which makes the poem lose's its value and respect .
