View Full Version : Beyonce feat. Jay Z: Crazy in Love
Libellula 25-06-03, 11:00 PM This is the next song they recorded together since "Bonnie and Clyde".
I don't think it's as good as the previous one, but it's worth checking out. It has something fresh and an original beat.
:)
Thug4Life 25-06-03, 11:20 PM I even didnt like the previous One!!!! made me go:duh: :eyes:
i love this song. u cant even compare it to the silly "Bonnie and Clyde 03" cause they're both really different.
anyways..the song is doing really well..based on airplay alone..as it now land in the billboard top ten at #6.
ya'll should check it out..if u didnt yet.
Muscati 26-06-03, 08:44 AM When I first heard this song on MTV I didn't like it but last night I was at a party and it sounded great when played loud on speakers with deep bass. The Jay-Z rap in the song sucks though and it sounds like it from another song.
Thug4Life 26-06-03, 04:04 PM many tried to copy it and re perform it here and there
so far 2pacs one remains the unique one BUT
The spanish guitar singer ;) she made it sound Great as well ;)

When Destiny's Child first crash-landed their way onto the R&B musical landscape, it was pretty obvious something special had arrived, and equally obvious that lead singer Beyonce Knowles was a genuine solo superstar in waiting.
Having taken a break from life in DC last summer, the 21-year old star provided glimpses of her solo style with the Austin Powers endorsed single 'Work It Out' and the Jay-Z collaboration '03 Bonnie & Clyde', but not until now have we been exposed to the full force of her potential.
Driven by an infectious horn sample (courtesy of Kool & The Gang), 'Crazy In Love' blasts through your stereo carrying a relentless, addictive beat that's impossible to resist. Gone, apparently, is the innocent God-fearing Beyonce of old, and here we welcome the funked-up, booty-shaking style icon of new.
Jay-Z returns the 'Bonnie & Clyde' favour with a rap three-quarters of the way in, but this is no duet. The showstopper here is most definitely Ms Knowles, and one suspects she's going to be on top of her game for some time to come

Libellula 08-07-03, 01:03 PM I just hope that Beyonce and Jay Z don't turn into another "Ashanti and JaRule" duo. ;)

Exactly. i was thinking the exact same thing. but it is rumored that they are an item..so u never know..we might have to go through yet another beyonce and jayZ song.
H-Highness 16-07-03, 12:11 PM Couple of weeks ago I read that the duo are really madly in love. Beyonce has been linked with 50 Cent (Curtis Jackson) who happend to be shot 9 times within 4 years, but it appears that Jay-Z, 34 yrs rapper and ex drug dealer to be her sweatheart at the moment.
The fact is that Beyonce is raised up in a deeply religious Texas family and her changes to a wild girl and accompanying bad boys (ex criminals) came as shock to her parents. Apparently after the split of Destiny Child, the girl moved out from family house and now living in luxury apartment in Miami.

Beyonce is no wild girl. i don't know where u get these stories from???? and what's wrong in going out with an ex dealer. he's not a criminal neither 50 Cent. everynody deserves a second chance and look at the business venture he's investing his money in. he owns a record company (Rocca Fella records), a clothing company (rocca wear), a couple of resturants. these are the ones i know.
ppl shouldn't concentrate on what he used to do. they should be concentrating on what he's doing right now, and he's runs programmes to help kids in the projects.
H-Highness 16-07-03, 03:53 PM Its no me...saying this. Its her family, friends, neighbour and relatives saying this. She used to be 'goody-two-shoes' and now has changed that image.
I wish had online proof so that you can read, unfortunately i have only hard copy.

Yeah, but they have more talent than Ash and Ja, so it might not be too bad! :D
Shinoda LP 17-07-03, 06:14 PM Ja's a freak ... the first time I heard him, I knew any pig on earth could sound better! :duh:
But, Crazy in luv's a good song and the video rocks too :)
There's another song on the album with Jay Z and its also very good. one of the best tracks in fact.
