DAJAL

Ok , here is a topic whereby I think we ought to really look at in a way when the prophet and the Holy Quran prophesized .
I have been trying to trace Al Dajal prophecy and here is my humble conclusion :

Al Dajal is not a man and he does exist now with proofs which im a bout to post so we can debate :
He is suppose to be A3war ( Crossed eye or one eye) it’s the T.V if you look at it scientifically how does the TV function .
Satellite and he can show you heaven and hell where you are .
The message travel fast and to each individual at home . Nudity , sex , crime , war, teaching how to steal .
If you may recall what the Hadith said “ He will ask you either to be with him or against him “ If you went against him he will burn you with fire “ Carpet bombing ( hint hint Afghanistan – Iraq) If you join him he promises heaven and peace ( which is totally against Gods law and Islamic Sharia ( which he leads you to hell fire) .
His Quran is the music which will mesmerize people ( look at our youngsters and homes and how music has effected each individual ) and he will support the Jews .
He will travel all over the world very fast to spread his message .
He will make sure that the Last message ( Islam ) is distorted by its enemies ( we are terrorist – Fundamentalist ..etc) .
There wont be any more honesty , truth , lots of killing , Rulers will be liars judges will be like wolves , Merchants will not pay Zakat or Sadakah and help the poor , the richer gets richer and the poor gets poorer , A Prince will be like a dog , and the scholar will commit adultery .. Lots of homosexuals and lesbians . No respect for the parents .. swearing will be normal and back biting ( Check Oman how people talk about people it is like a feast ).
Now what more proof do you want ????

After reading DP's dajjal thread i began to do some research about Dajjal, i found this book [ brothers room!]

The Title is DAJJAL the Anti-Christ by Ahmad Thomson [revised Edition]

The book has heavily detailed information about tha Dajjal

So i thought i would summarise the details part by part for some memebers who are interested.


DAJJAL

there are three aspects of the Dajjal

1) Dajjal the individual

2) Dajjal as a world wide social and cultural phenomenon

3) Dajjal as an unseen force

the word Dajjal comes from the arabic word meaning "to decieve", "to cheat", "to smear with tar" - but this word does not appear in the quran, the dajjal is described in considerable detail in al major collection of hadiths.

Information of the Dajjal will be found in hadiths concerning the "last days". Allah confirms in the Quran that the person who is asked about the end of the world - that is , the Hour - knows as much about it as the person who asks the question. Allah aslo says that mankind has only been given little knowledge concerning the Hour. None knows exactly when it will be, but Allh indicates inthe quran that perhaps it is closer than u think. As far as u are concerned, the world ends for you when u die.

Virtually all signs of end of the world are apparent, except for the last four major signs.

Apparent signs:

that women greatly out number men

family ties are neglected or abandoned

there is an abundance of food

that time is short

that there are many people who are hard hearted and mean

that few are wise and many are ignorant

people fear a tyrant so much that they dare not even tell him that he is a tyrant

there are people who behave like animals

there are women women who wear clothes like a second skin so that they appear naked even through they are clothed

many people drink alcohol

adultery and fornication are common

men lie with men, and women lie with women

that many muslims become extremely wealthy

muslims are numerous but powerless - because of their love for this world and fear for death

and many more [in this book from hadiths]

Description of the Dajjal collected from hadiths:

Dajjal can be heard all over the world

Dajjal will show u fire but will not burn you, he will show you water but u will not be able to drink it

Dajjal will talk of the Garden and make it seem like the fire

Dajjal will talk of the fire and make it seem like the Garden

these desriptions all fit the charcteristics of today's media systems and communications technology, and especially inthe manner they are largely used.


The Dajjal has been the subject of much writing in the past. They can be found for example in the Bible*, in the book of revelations by John and in the writings of Nostrodamus. The Dajjal is usually reffered to as the "anti Christ" in these prophecies and the commentaries. it not known how reliable and accurate either these prophecies are, or the later interpretations of them are. it is quite probable that at least some of them came by the way of the jinn

ok i have jumped some parts of the book to talk specifically about the Dajjal.

Dramatic changes have taken place on the face of this world inthe last 100 yrs............................in th elarge citiees today the indivdual has become increasingly alienated formhis or her self, and fromothersand fromthe knowledge of Allah.....................a cog inthe consumer producer processes who, when not at work or asleep, if often trapped in an infantile and unfulfilled search for illusory self-gratification, which ensures what there is usually very llittle time left to reflect and to consider where he or she is going..........and no time to actually do something about breaking out of the recurring behaviour pattern where he or she is trapped (sounds a bit like the Movie Matrix!) - anyone seen it?!]

it goes on

[I] even when the social grouping of today is limited in size to the village number, that actual social transaction between its memebers is far less intimate and cohesive inthe past. there is less time to meet and more time to watch television. the only way of appreciating how dramatic the change has been is to observe what happens when a multi nation corporation decides to exploit the natural resources...............................eliminatin g their traditional sources of livelihood......disrupted the people way of life.....thereby ensuring that there is cheap labour available to carryout work.....................suddenely everbody has a number and wants this thing called "money" ........the social harmony which existed before the mine, oil field, timber fellin factory, or factory assembling plant or hydro elctric power scheme or whatever.......became a reality..is gone

Dajjal - The "Anti christ "

Another significant change in social activity............in the past the community used to be united by its worhsip of [I]God, nowasyas this basic and unifying element is often lacking in people's lives. in the wester world ths pattern used to be predominantly that of the christian religion........a pecualiar amalgam of Paul's own ides, Greek philosophy....the innovations of a priesthood .......in attempts tto comprimise all [I]kafir rulers......and finally a few traces of the original teahing of the Porphet Jesus [pbuh]..........


since this pattern of worship was not and is not the same as what it originally was.........cannot lead to direct knowledge of Allah.


it was the fragmentationof western society by the advent of mechanised way of life.....so called " industrial revolution"....which made it easier to break free of the christian pattern of worship..........the worship performed and brought by Jesus was not the same as this pattern of worship anyway......and has been long lost forever.

there are many who are only too eager to point out what has been said about christians and jews also applies to the Muslims, and that there are many people alive today who call them selves muslims but who are not following the way of the Prophet Muhammed and his community. this is quite true, and it is partially a measure of success enjoyed by Christians and the Jews in thier attempts to subvert and destroy whose who have sought and wish to follow the way of Muhummed[pbuh]

One of the chief methods used by the kafir system, that is the dajjal system, to erase living islam is to introduce the kafir way of life in muslim countries..............nearly all the traditional Muslim lands are today controlled and governed in accordance with what precepts of the kafir system, and not according to wat is in the sunnah and Quran........the Way of Moses and the way of Jesus have been lost........The religion Judaism and Christianity have been developed and introduced instead.............these religions are an integral part of the kafir system...........The Dajjal system is the complete antithesis of the Prophetic way of Life all the prophets as far back as Adam, May Allahs peace and blessing be on all of them.

Kafir: the one who denies the existance of Allah and who rejects His prophets and Messengers. Kufr means to cover up reality, the kufr condition is therefore neurosis, because of his inner knowing. He "bites his hand in rage" but will not give into his envitable oncoming death.

its some thing believable .....

but i have one question here for you guys ...
all the big signs of the judgment day mentioned in quran ...for example ..yagoog w magoog.. ,dabbah ,nfaakh fe abooQ ,..

why dijjal not mentioned in quran ? if he 'll make a big "fitna " so why it does not mention in quran? ....

i was so confusing about it i made my research about dajjal ..and most of them are not strong ahadeeth ....
and ALlah a3laam ... any way if he come inshALlah we 'll be ready for him .. and ALlah help us to protect us from him

That is a good question, i was thinking exactly the same as you SR, why isnt the Dajjal mentioned in the Quran?

In answer to yours and Silver_Ring's question, there are two main reasons that most Islamic Scholars site when explaining why Dajjal is not mentioned in the Quran,

The first of these is that he is so beneath contempt that he did not deserve a mention in the word of God (SWT). So it was left to the Prophet (PBUH) to warn the human race about the up and comming fitna. There are reams of ahadith which relate to Dajjal. And as I remember alot of them actually give a physical description.. ie. black curly hair, strongly built. This would lend credence to the fact that the Dajjal may actually be a man (not just a system). Of course the system preceding the emmergence of Dajjal, would have to significantly weaken the spiritual resolve of humanity - so that the evil in all men could be then exploited to its full - so (as Shiekh Imran Hossein says) perhaps Dajjal is behind the scenes and is waiting to make is apperance (I personally think that it is soon). And, of course Allah (SWT) knows best.

The second is that it is a moot point to mention him, because if you follow the majestic Quran and the excellent example of the Prophet (PBUH), then the Dajjal's power will not be able to effect you anyway. It is said in the Hadith, that all rightly guided peoples on the earth at the time of Dajjal, will be able to see the word "kafr" clearly written on the forehead of the Dajjal. Also, the Prophet (PBUH) said that if anyone is confronted by Dajjal, then they should recite the first 10 verses of Surat Al-Kaf (The Cave), and Dajjal will be powerless against them.

If anyone wants to make a study of this topic, then you cannot go past the analysis that Abdallah Shiekh Imran Hossein has put together in his books and lecture videos. He brilliantly analyses Quranic text, Ahadith and how they relate to the Modern World. Well worth a look. Some of his lecture videos are:

i guess becuase he in mankinds open enemy, he has to be mentioned so that we could be warned from his evil whisperings to do wrong actions.

plus iblis played major roles in the islamic/christian/jewish history all the way back to adam and eve...............

Anti-Christ - The individual: There are many Hadith which describe Dajjal’s appearance, his height and his powers.

Ubadah ibn Saamit radiyallahu anhu narrates that Prophet Mohammed Ppbuh) said: ‘I have explained Dajjal to you, but I fear that you might not have understood. Maseeh-ud-Dajjal will be short and his legs will be crooked. The hair on his head will be extremely twisted. He will have one eye, while his other eye will be flat. It will be neither deep, nor protruding."

Ibn Umar radiyallahu anhuma narrates from the Last Prophet (peace & blessings be upon him) regarding Dajjal, ‘…red complexioned, fat, curly haired man, blind in the right eye which looks like a bulging grape.’ (Bukhari)

According to the many Ahaadith describing the Anti-Christ (Dajjal), the most distinguishing feature of his face besides the bulging eye will be the Arabic letters Kaaf (k), Faa (f), Raa (r), on his forehead. These letters spell Kufr (disbelief).

Here we have clear physical descriptions of a person through these Hadiths and even the New Testament contains prophecies regarding the Anti-Christ. (Book of Revelations by John).

It seems he will be of Jewish origin and his main followers will also be jews, though some non-jews will also follow him and look at his false 'miracles'.

Is the Anti-Christ already among us, as a leader, a preacher, a false prophet and will he come at a later period? This is not known...

2) Anti-Christ - A world wide social and cultural phenomenon:

The Anti-Christ will spread his evil as a social and cultural phenomenon. As DP said, through the medias, the television and what is evil will seem good and what is good will be of no interest.

Hadhrat Huzaifah radiyallahu anhu narrated the following:
‘Dajjal will also have Paradise and Hell with him. Though his Paradise will appear as Jannah, in reality it will be Hell, and likewise, though his Hell will appear like Jahannnam, in reality it will be Paradise.’ (Muslims)

This is to my opinion what we see through more sex, drugs, abuse, nudity and promiscuty. It seems this "evil" will also try to enter the 2 holy cities of Mecca and Medina, but will not succeed. Again I believe it can be in a physical form through anti-islamic individual interference, as well as through social evils. The followers of Islam will show resistance.


3) Anti-Christ - An unseen force.

The Anti-Christ can be also define through unseen force like jinns who can take part to spread evil and indirectly influence humain beings.

Though this third possibility can be true, I believe the Anti-Christ will appear both as an individual who will mislead his followers, and as a evil social phenomenon, which has already started...

Thank you Xpress for the information. This is what I have been trying to state that Dajjal is living with us and we can see clearly all the signs, which you mentioned.
It is scary if you think of what the world has turn up to. Just 50 years ago (even in Europe) women did not sit in beaches topless or even could kiss in public. As when I read of the society in Europe and how did the gentleman treated a lady with all respect.
The moral is no more and ethic is no more. Freedom to do what you want as long as 2 parties agree. Even drinking was shameful if you misbehave during that time.
What change it and how could humans drop all moral and ethics in few decades and who supported this new type of ideas and system.
I wonder how is it going to be in the next 20 years if we live our lives the way we do now?

I was trying to find any reference about the dajjal in the Quran but I couldnt. i gues i never looked hard enough!

the other thing that came to mund was the bible's prophecies........many of them have come true so i would like ot know if there is any prophecy of the Dajjal in the Bible? perhaps a nice christian can tell us.

i have been readin about this, and i guess we are living in this Dajjal, this system. The dajjal system is basically a system not from the way of a Prophet style. Like interest %$£ on loans [which was forbidded by the prophet], tax, the work style, no worship to One God, selfishness, laziness, churches in my area where i live have been demolished, the new generation are not even interested in religion, popular alcohol consumption,etc.

A really strange point that made me think was that up until i came to read this book, i never even realised that we are in the dajjal life style.

Before i personally thought the coming of dajjal was more of a supernatural or miraculous happening but most of us dont realise that it isnt. Over the decades, this system has taken control over the world. Even in islamic countries............

Reading this one reaches a conclusion that when 'ever' Dajjal and Ibliss 'ever' combine their efforts against mankind it will become bad news for human race.

But again does Dajjal and Ibliss have families of their own i.e, mean little Dajjals and little Iblisses scatered here and there ?

Yes Desert Sloath, there are little and big Dhajjal scattered everwhere and the bad thing is that nowadays people don't understand that and believe that what is evil is good. They don't make the distinction anymore.

As Dark Project said, what was unacceptable and shameful 50 years ago, is not even noticeable today.

We see nudity everywhere now and it is not a big deal...people living out of the wed lock and having children that are no longer viewed as 'bast**d' men sleeping with women, men sleeping with men, women with women and the world say: "So what? what is strange about that?" Crime rate is increasing, sexual misconduct among religious people are exposed, divorces are increasing, family ties are breaking, drugs are everywhere ect...

As we said above: "Paradise will appear as Jannah, in reality it will be Hell, and likewise, though his Hell will appear like Jahannnam, in reality it will be Paradise.’'

When visiting Africa some few years back, I happened to sit at gathering amongst whom there were some Yemenis. One was excited at the news of the finding of oil in Yemen. The other turned to me and asked a question that would the oil discovery bring to Yemeni society immorality with it ? He looked sad at the conclusion of the posibility of cultural errosion as a result of such discovery. He infact added that Arab Societies where oil was the backbone of their economic strength have lost a lot in values.

Now does such conclusion prove the discovery of oil is a beginning of man's self-destructions ? I do not think President Bush would agree with such conclusion. But in actual fact, oil benefits small fracture of human race than it does to the entire world.

I believe, our own oil, is energising the Dajjals against good morality.

I heard of Dajjal when a small child. I was told that; during Dajjal's era, he will try to control world food. Those who worship or obey him would live in "peace". He would indeed appear to have the power to deny the whole world of food. Those who refuse to bow to his commands would suffer, but those who resist submitting to Dajjal's wishes "would be the winner, and in the end they'd enjoy eternal peace in heaven".

So have we thus far identified the signs of the looks of the Dajjal ?
