Do you take care of your car ?

You will find some people in Oman they spend alot of time cleaning their cars, even I know a guy use "Nivia" cream to clean tyre rings !! and some of them they put alot of decoration inside the car like a bed room and also spray alot of perfum, etc.

How do you go about it ?

well..yeah i take care of my car alot..but not in such way like converting it to a house or a bed room..i just like to keep the car as it is and clean it almost daily..i like the tyres to be very cleaned and shined, plus i like my rings to look very shiny.
i dont like to see any scratches in my car. thats it...but i dont like to do anything else inside..i just like to keep it as it is.

I'm kinda person who don't take care much about car. 3 times cleaning a week, polishing once in a while and I keep some fruity scent too.

well my car is my baby and a baby needs to be taken care of..and no i dont go way over board like turning it into a sitting room with curtains etc..i just make sure it is clean inside and outside especially the tyres..9althugh lately i have not been taking good care of it as i have been busy with wedding prepartions!

Your car seems happy with soo much care, I hope it gives you the same in return :). If you find a small kid scratching your car, what will you do ?

I find 3 times is too much unless you drive off road alot, where do you go for car washing ? Or you clean it yourself.

i put some perfoum in the car always ,,, and my favouirt baby rabbit :o

but in general ,,,, i like to keep it clean and smel nice :color:

Well, maybe a little more often, but I am not too fussed about it. I take it to a Carwash Cafe once a week and have a coffee while 5 young attractive males turn it into a beamer. All I have to do then is rev it up and turn up the music. :D

:) well..i am satisfide with my car..and about your question about finding a kid scratching my car..i will really get angry at him and i will call his father to fix wha his son did :D

As long as my car is clean and dust free.... I think that's as far as I'd go! I take it to the car wash once a week.
On the other hand my husband is obssessed about his car.... actually, I feel jealous of his car because he takes so much care of it....! If we drive in his car he would always say things like:
'Careful don't touch that!'
'Make sure your shoes are clean before you get in the car!'
'Careful when you change the CDs!'
So I hate going in his car... I'd always tell him we are going in my car!!:mad:

i dont understand those who dont like a single spot on their car, shine every single inch of it, and clean it 100 times a week. its just sad in my opinion.

Nabhan, seems from the way you post that you still have not managed to get your license :D :D :D

Anyways, I like to keep my car clean, especially the rims.

I get it washed twice a week, (off white color) so it doesnt look durty anyways :)

I like it to smell good too, so i make sure it has a new perfum in every 2 weeks

whatever..it has nothing to do with it! i just dont believe in getting way to attached to materialistic things. taking care is good..but over doing it..is pathetic.

I tend to take care of my car when I'm free, I get my car all cleaned up twice or three times a week, but sometimes I get so busy with work that I barely have time to get clean it up, but I would never go to uni on a Saturday without taking my car for a wash if it wasn't clean!!:D And it drives me crazy when someone eats in my car, I just can't concentrate on my driving, so I spend the whole ride driving that person crazy, lol, asking him/her to be careful!!:duh:

Does this means it doesn't smell good normaly thats why you put alot of perfum :D

Well, actually my routine is work to home, home to work till Wed and on weekend I got out to visit relatives and hanging out with friends so there's no much of traveling.

When I said cleaning 3 times a week I meant once in a week I take to car wash and 2 times I get our houseboy clean it or sometimes I do it myself but in general I'm careless.

All the cars at home are washed on friday mornings inside out, and when ever its dirty during the week we just ask the houseboy to dust it....

maybe i over did the "can u plz wipe the car" the last few times i was in oman coz the car i drive now is BLACk! so it needs it .... other rules in the car are ,, no food only snaking and i love putting bokhur in the car! and i HATE seeing papres and bags and stufff laying around i go nuts.

ppl who spend hours a day ,, everyday cleaning thier car dont have anything to do in life and they dont know the vaule of time.

Well we have these foreigners who are cleaning cars in our working place I pay him monthly and he clean it all the working days (and Am like: If u dont clean well my car next month you wont touch it)so I will only take car wash if needed or for vaccum.well cant drive untidy car:p

You mentioned a point about those foreigners you will also find them infront of the shopping centers and when they saw you coming they will ruch to ask you if you want to clean your car for 500 Biza. But the problem is they don't clean well, espacially at night you think it's cleaned well and in the morning you will see the difference.

You are right Icey, poor guys they wanna live but I always thank them for the Parking :D

Well....e7m.... I think the worker who dady paying him to clean our cars is doing this job, I know some times that he gets on me nervouse when I see my car not shiny as I want, but at least he doesn't make worry about cleaning it:p .

My mother is Over doing it too. She can get you off her car if you do something wrong to it! We cant even close the doors properly fearing of that SCREAM on us. o0o0oh also in Gargar -dusty street-.. I sleep dream, wake up and we dont reach where we want to be! she will drive around 20 and no more than 30!
As well she likes to clean it by her own, fearing that maybe people doesnt know how to clean it right!

Inthe contrary my father's car is a dust bin.:D

i'm carless:weep: :weep: i sold my car when i left Oman. so obviously i don't clean no car. i'm thinking of starting bikini car wash service in Oman. now that's a good business plan.

Since we ALREADY HAVE A BIKINI CAR WASHING SERVICE here (aha, we do:rolleyes: ), I am thinking a 'Boys in Boxers' Gentle Hand Wash Service (for cars of course!) would be ideal.

I might even have a few volunteers ready to go too.

my father is overacting towards this , he cleans his car everyday and cover it everyday. he also cleans my car ... i guess i'm lucky;)
