View Full Version : Women at Work
H-Highness 03-06-03, 03:31 PM Ladies, lets be reliastic this time. I donno if I'm the only one get irrirate with this behaviour, why can't we have standard code at work. I think things seems to be good with gents in terms of dress code, all in white dishdasha and turbon. But when it comes to ladies its disgusting, I mean we don't have proper code of dress, which makes us look unproffesional.
Here are some of my observation:-
Casual/street wear at work
Clothes with Flash/beach colors (luminous)
Clashing matching
Nasty Sandals
Night gown with all shining stuff
Strong perfumes
Heavy makeups/night make-up
I have very much respect to those who wear Abayas at work but please we shouldn't wear those nasty sandals, its not their place at all or glittering/shiny scarfs.
Your inputs are welcome.
UmHamed 03-06-03, 05:21 PM Do they? never seen such:confused: all that i know girls mostly wear what they call Max W Lhaf?not shining though, yes dark lipstick:D
I don't think it's possible for ladies coz they are going through pregnency each year.

Its even standard in here, but thats not the end. You'll have some with very glittering scarfs and heavy makeups, for which they're not suitable in the daytime.
UmHamed 04-06-03, 05:24 PM Why is that show my name on Ice Tea quote? :angre:
yes they dont look official but it is second year now am trying to ask my friend to change that look am not yet success. What do I do with her?:lost: If you are working with them then why not tell them but not directly, nicely and friendly way, that what am doing HH, if I feel she need help :)
H-Highness 04-06-03, 05:36 PM Ooops sorry for that Jamila.
Well, I feel for you Jamila. I think those kind of people need to be educated in polite way but don't put too much pressure on her. As an office worker their proffesional look/appearance is more important as their work.
I have always liked HSBC uniforms, they look gorgeous in that combination. I wish all banks and those who are in direct contacts with customers should have proper code.

You can't deny that pregnent women needs special care.
H-Highness 04-06-03, 05:42 PM Iceman.
Whats that gotta do with dress. Do they need also someone to dress them up or choose for them.
H square,
Most of the time pregnant women will experience an increase in their weight and their foots will expand, so they feel comfortable to wear sandals and free cloths.
H-Highness 04-06-03, 05:51 PM Agree with you on that, but do all ladies go into pregnancies throughout a year. I think when pregnant woman start gaining weight and probably having swallon feet it when she in her 5 months and above.

...and men need special care during pregnancy, too!!
I think it is very important to wear plain/calm colour, elegant, smart clothes at work.... or people do 'underestimate' your potential!
As for the men... if dishdasha's keep them on the safe side then their shoes don't!!

It's the brain doing the job not the clothes.
