Kargeen.

Because it's in my neighborhood. Because the food is really good, and the sheesha ain't bad either. Because I've been going there for years and now I know all the staff and they know what I want. Because they have enclosed tents with A/C so it's the only tolerable place in the summer. Because I don't go to Starbucks and it is not an option for me.

If it wasn't for Kargeen's proximity to me, and whenever I need a change and i'm with a group that doesn't want to smoke sheesha, the choice is usually Darcys Kitchen.

I like changing from time to time, it also depend with the people I'm with. So my list is

1) Costa
2) Glacier
3) Kargeen
4) Starbucks

I found Kargeen to be my favourite all the time I like their stuff very much.

What do I think of people who go there?? Let me think, yeah they're having good time.

close to where I live

the staff know me so I feel comfortable.

actually I dont drink coffee or tea...

well..recently its been kargeen , but i also like "happy day" in al khuwair , cause the staff over there know me..and its air conditioned which is good for the summer. plus their menu isnt bad and reasonably priced.

In dubai i usually go to a coffee shop called the arabian dream to smoke shisha or shakespear which has like 50 flavours of shisha.
In singapore i go to a turkish resturant by the creek which is one of the few places that serve shisha...they only have apple and its crap but its better than nothing. I also go to swensens which is right by my house.

cooooooool..i like kargeen very very much...i'm there almost everyday..i like their menu, and the staff know me very well..

Mux: i think we saw each other b4..as me and u like kargeen the most.
Arabian Princess: Exactly..many girl members from my family go there, it is a suitable place for ladies..it has more privecy.

CodEZerO: The point is not that u drink coffee or tea..its just you go out with ppl you like , talk and chat with them..its more like having fun not to drink.

qais: cool..but i mean in oman,,,not in dubai or other places.

I've been to many Caffe, but hounestly I don't like them that much cauz the ppl make me feel like a super star in a public place ( & I don't mean it in the good way:rolleyes: ) I feel most the ppl their r going to show off & see how the others look like, & I don't like to be in all this story:p , but some times it is necessary to meet friends & I force my self to go to them.

oh its been a while for me since i've been to omani Caffe's! But i always liked to go to:
2) Glacier(Zakher'z)
3) Kargeen(Harthy's complex) Cause its much quiter.And this MQ ones always filled with people! too crowded.

well Kargeen Mq is where i used to hang out but i havent been there lately..i simply like it there cause the atmosphere there is an amicbale one and the food is great what more do you want from a coffee shop?
but i do agree that it can get very crowded!

Another place i like to go to especially for breakfast is Darcy's Kitchen.

In Sydney, if you are ever in town, you MUST go to any Gloria Jeans Coffee shops. They are divine... (and so are their coffees;))

I went to Gloria Jeans caffe in Al-Ain!

I loved thier creps (pan cakes) .. its a good coffee shop indeed Raffee

1- used to be glacier CCC and sometimes Zakher
2- currently: Starbucks shatti al qurm or next door Darcy's kitchen
3- karjeen: harthy ( coz it's quiet and peacful not full of smoke and teenagers)

Glaciers in Zakher if I'm out with my friends, or Kargeen/ MQ when I'm with family, I just love it over there, and the staff know my family very well, my dad takes all our guests there, lol.
I also like Darcy's kitchen, but haven't been there in some time!

I like strong Omani coffee with dates.
