May i recommend a grooming sub sabla for ladies and men because lets face Omani people need to learn how to smell and look good for a cleaner and safer environment. Think of it as helping your country. May i recommend the following toolkit for some of you:
1) Toothbrush - this tool is used to keep your teeth clean
2) Toothpaste - think of this as tooth butter to make your teeth work 'good'
3) Shampoo
4) Soap
5) ANTI PERSPIRANT DEODRANT (thats anti- not pro)
6) Razor

PS dousing yourself in haloudi doesnt make u clean it only attracts you to the farmyard beasts.

If your planning to dye your hair, i do not recommend shocking purple, pink or perox white. No one is interested in your invidualistic show of force..really
When wearing a skirt or short-sleeve t-shirt, remember to remove the 5 inch hair folicles. Although i hear lots of hair is a bonus in some parts of Oman. (Contrary to belief "au naturel" does not mean walk around like an ape.)

While he didn't say some thing totaly wrong, but I can correct him..these ppl who afraid from water & showers r around the world not only in Oman & Omani girls r very sweet girl who cares about their looks & their smell as I know alot of them & I'm living with them........but if there is such girls I don't think this is the good way to advice them, cauz this is so rude from u....

Actually the members here not hypocrite as u said, but it is your way to bring out any prb, u think insulting & swearing Muslims, Arabs & Omanies is the way to solve the prb while it isn't.......some times u bring out very important points & very true but u destroy the discussion by your nigative way which many ppl find it offensive....so try to change your way a little bit & try to use the word ( SOME PPL) instead of generalize the prb, just to have a useful discussion...
Well I find what u said about SOME girls r true, they think that putting no perfumes & so on is non Islamic habit & also women should not care about them selves alot to not attract the other gender:rolleyes: so by neglectting them selves they think taht they r gOod muslims & they forgot what Islam requested them to be clean & clean every thing around them & many many saying to encourage them to care about their hygience...... So this is not an Islamic view, but I think the invironment they r living in...less education about hygience & wrong concepts they got about the Islamic instructions made them like that...

you are saying that women are dirty they smell bad and not hygienic. to prove this point we should have an evidence , and u can not go and smell every lady and make a conclusion about teh general hygiene of omani women. instead you use the quesionnaire analaysis by asking people about what do they think and end with a conclusion based from the thoughts of many people.

and as u can see many sabla people are against ur point and so I , because according to my experience , omani women are hygienic and unfortunately more than men. u might have bad experience from some people but don't generalize ur point

the best way to judge wether somebody is hygeinic or not is by looking at his foot, because teh foot is the least part of body that human take care of. and teh hygienic person is teh one who take care teh whole of his body not the part which he shows the people (face).

no need for questionnaiire. If u get a chance to see and arm or a leg u will see the the forest they are growing. IF u sit next to them tehy either smell of sweat or cheap haloudi with 1 inch thick makeup, some don't wear any deodrant or nothingu dont have to go and ask to sniff them. Just walk past and u will get a cloud of fumes.
Im just sayin everyone should make an effort to look good and feel good. Just beacuase no man is going to see u until u get married doesnt mean u have to walk around smelling like hot GARBAGE YES? And even worse are the womens who let men see their bodies and don't even make an effort to prepare themselves! YAK! YAK! well see namir mal ZABALA .....i'm really wondering about what u've said above ....but if u comapre mn and women what we will find ou is women r much cleaner and hyjinic ....well women love to be cleaned .....when they get married they have many responsibilty in thier new house so that means they have to be very careful in thier new life otherwise they will loss everything ....the husbands look all depends on his wife and shows which type of wives has he got ...coz its wife who make her husband vlean be changing his clothes and the smell of insents b4 going to pray or out ....that what i brought up with women cleans the men ....
well let us see what is womens job and this take us to the hyjin .....women have too cook so she have to be in the kitchen.....
in the kitchen she uses onion ,tomato,meat,fish and etc which really smell crab and as u know in hot omani weather .....so all that smeels mix to very horrible smell ....they have to clean thier houses and washing and deshes ...and many many many other works wich give her the bad smell ....but yah after all they do have shower and some 6eb .....coz as everybody knows they pray is not accepted with bad smell .....

i lived with british people for almsot 20 years and i can safely say that the days of Queen Victoria are long gone. English people are very clean nowadays, sure they don't wash their bottom after kaka time but they always look and smelling good. Teh dirtiest people in the UK were Arabs and ofcourse indians, who even if millionaire they still smell bad because they take shower with onion and garlic and tumeric in the morning. But the arabs in the UK i lived wth were really bad, especially the men i admit. So i think u never lived with british family MAHA and even f u did it was one family not a whole country.
Omani men do smell yes but we don't swimm in too much haloudi and bukhur and ton of makeup or perfumes. WE may smell of sweat but our stuff is always ready for action, unlike Omani women who are just YAK YAK YAK NOT ALL but ALOT. And also wat about the high divorce rate we have, i think cleaniless is big reason for this

As for your topic (if put in a better way) I do agree that SOME girls/guys have hygiene problems. I can remember that from the days that I was in school I started off in UK then entered a private school in Oman but for high school I went to a government all girls school, some times it would be almost impossible to sit next to a girl in class, I was not used to it at all but then I thought ,,, I cant tell the whole school but I can tell the girls that I know,,, and so I started doing that,,,,, then we started announcing tips during the morning assembly…. Anyhow I think I’m talking too much ,,,,

The Point is we could help ppl and educate them about self-hygiene, but not the way your putting it .

As for me u can come smell or however u measure a girls hygiene and I guarantee u 200% satisfaction ,,,, so don’t generalize plz

I never claimed to civilised by the way! Occasionally, i smell too but men don't need to shave their arms, legs only take quick shower, brush teeth, little perfume and finish. Women have much bigger cleaning jobs to do......which i really feel young women in Oman do not do. I had one experience when one girl smelt of something i can not say here, every time i walk past or sit next to in class, that same stinky smell until one day i figured out what the smell was but lets just say it was horrible.

Just out of curiosity, which skool in UK did u attend?
