BI, I won't comment on this, lol!!:o :D
And for YOUR information, they turned out to be good after all! They were just hot when we first tried them that's why they didn't taste so good! Besides it was my first try!!
But people, what I'm really good at is my all time favourite chocolate cake that I've been baking for the last, ummm lets see, 5 years!! And BI, everyone loves it!:)
I did post the recipe some time ago in one of 4 eva's threads, I can post it again if you want, and it's a must try, coz it has a real special taste!;)
DD, it could be the same one, but I'll have a look in my book, it's got all kinds of chocolate cakes!

This for DD to try and tell us if this is what you meant:

This came from: http://dessert.allrecipes.com/az/dthbychclt.asp

the receipie subbmitter describe it as: " I make this while I'm cleaning the kitchen after dinner -- layers of German chocolate cake, toffee candy, and whipped topping"

here is the receipe:

gredients

1 (18.25 ounce) package German chocolate cake mix
1 (3.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
1 2/3 cups milk
3/4 cup strong brewed coffee
1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
6 (1.4 ounce) bars chocolate covered toffee bars, frozen and crushed

Directions
1 Bake cake, according to package directions, in a 9x13 inch pan. Cool and crumble. Make pudding, according to package directions, with milk.
2 In a large trifle or other glass serving bowl, place half of the crumbled cake. Pour half of the coffee over the cake, spread half the pudding over that, and top with half the whipped topping sprinkled with half the crumbled candy bars. Repeat layers. Refrigerate until serving

serves 12

The Perfect Chocolate Cake!

Serving: Serves: 6
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 40 minutes

For the Cake:
1 1/2 cups unbleached white flour
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup cold water or brewed coffee
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 tablespoons vinegar

For the Glaze:
1/2 pound bittersweet chocolate
3/4 cup hot water, milk or half-and-half
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
2. Sift together the flour, cocoa, baking soda, salt, and sugar into an ungreased 8-inch square or 9-inch round baking pan.

3. In a 2-cup measuring cup, measure and mix together the oil, water or coffee, and the vanilla. Pour the liquid ingredients into the baking pan and mix the ****** with a fork or small whisk. When ****** is smooth, add the vinegar and stir quickly. There will be pale swirls in the ****** where the baking soda and the vinegar are reacting. Stir just until the vinegar is evenly distributed throughout the ******.

4. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Set the cake aside to cool, and if you choose to make the glaze, reset the oven to 300 degrees F.

For the Glaze:
5. Melt the chocolate in a small ovenproof bowl or heavy skillet in the oven for about 15 minutes. Remove and stir the hot liquid and the vanilla into the chocolate until smooth.

6. Spoon the glaze over the cooled cake. Refrigerate the glazed cake for at least 30 minutes before serving. Garnish with chocolate curls, if desired.

this is a nice chocolate cake topping try it!

You will need:
two 250g galaxy chocolate
one 250g white chocolate
1 teaspoon powder coffee
half a tin of nestle cream
1 1/2 spoon butter

Method:
1- melt the butter.
2- when it melts add the galaxy chocolate.
3- then add the white chocolate.
4- when it melts add one teaspoon of powder coffee.
5- when everything is melted, put of the fire and add half a tin of nastle cream.

if the cake wasnt ready put the mixture in the fridge but not for lonng or else it will become hard.

when the mixture is on the fire never stop staring or else the chocolate at the bottom might burn.

if u find it too sweet u may add powder cocoa to it or some more coffee.
Try it u'll love it :)
