I believe we Arab countries have lost opportunity. Many foreigners have come to our countries and gone, their first intentions and wish were to learn and know Arabic.

We, the GCC should have grabbed the opportunity to promote the language and provide the learning facilities free of charge and make some sort of incentive for foreigners who speak Arabic and write. This is for the benefit of the Arabic language and in the end of Arabs’ benefits.

See, what English people did, they taught us the language for free and now we pay a lot of money to British council to learn the language.
