What is the best windows you've use and why did you like it?

To start with me, the best windows that I've used is 98 I guess, as it has less errors and stuff like that!

Win98, and 98SE were very stable, but now a bit dated.

I use Win200 Pro at work right now and am fairly happy.

Mac OS X Jaguar (10.2.x ) is also very nice and I use it at home.

Aha I see, and do you think that 2000 is better than 98? How?

For one, Win2000 is still supported by M$.

hmm usually every newer windows should be better then the one before. So by default yes win2k would be assumed to be better then win98.

So we can say each OS = Operating System. Has its advtanges and disadvantages based on their requirements and the user requirements.

there is alot of aspects to be consider while comparing. So based on the above you can decide on which is better to what you require..:D

I have used most of 'em and i like XP more. It is because has lots of features in it that aren't available in others.

I wonder who still uses 98 nowadays. and for those who claim the slowness in their systems is cuz of XP, that's not true. Window software itself doesnt have much to do with the speed of ur system.

ur system probably has a very limited space or doesn't have all the files required to run XP. there could be many many reasons. but never heard that the system is slow just because of the type of windows u have. As far as the secuirty issues or running the applications, the type of winodws play its role here.
