Are Omanis / Muslim not working in a private sectors, why Government are given nine days while the same people whow should have the same rights get 5 days ?.

Can any one help to interpret this decision. Both decisions comes from the Government source or authority.

I want to know the reason, is it because Private sectors employees are less Omanis or because Government employees do not have much work ?.

u r asking y the private sector get fewer holidays than those in the government sector?? think about our working hours every day.. we work from 8 to 4.. sometimes even 5 or 6.. dont u take that into consideration?? and also.. the private sector get more raises in their salary than those in the government sector.. and the bonus in the private sector happens more frequently than a bonus in the government sector.. these r some of the reasons why the private sector get fewer holidays than the government sector.. :)

I think the main reason is that people in the private sector are concerned of making money out of people working but in the public sector are serving the public ..
if private sector got the same holiday as privat sector then the profit this sector will go less and this is against the intrest of the owners ..
ask your self again, why the annual holiday in the publis is more than private ? the same reason again ..
u cant blame the owners of private sector becuse they also put thier money to make the business and they want it to work .. any way .. although private sector work more they also earn more I guess :)

I guess people working in the Government are mostly lazy and the owners of private sectors are authorities people who make decisions on private sector so they don't loose number of days for employees to have holidays.

Not all private sectors are paying well, bonuses etc.

what do u mean government sector r lazy???? if u ask the privet sector ppl, u will find out that more than half of them want the whole weekend off.. so it's not right to say that the government sector are lazy..

The Government sector staff are very lazy, if you want to know put them in Private sectors I bet they suffocate and most of them can not make it.

In private sectors people are not reading newspapers and go out to do the personal work and drink coffee all the times.

u say government employees are lazy?? wallah 7aram.. some of these ppl work day and night to satisfy the public.. dont generalise in ur replies.. take into consideration those ppl who DO work hard and make an effort to please other ppl in this country..
