Do you think you will buy these Internet Pre-paid Cards? Tell us the advantages and inconvenients you found about these cards and if they really made a difference in your monthly bills?.
(ps: not sure if this thread should be in General Sabla or Business Sabla)
it wont do any good for me..cause i stay online for hours everyday. am better off with my normal account. it's a good service where parents can buy their children the card and that way it can set a limit for them cause some kids tend to abuse the usage of internet and waste huge amounts of money on the bill.
DeSerTDesTroYeR 27-04-03, 02:01 AM well..its quite interesting...will check out the website....but will need to find out....the pricing details...hmm....would be nice if they were in an acceptable range.
it sounds like a good idea but not for me.
Arabian Princess 27-04-03, 09:25 AM Personally, if the price was not more than 200 Biasas I think I will buy them coz I dont have an internet account yet at my home and this will help me limit my internet usage. However, if it was more, I dont think its worth it because you can simply open an account these days!
The service is good for people who would like to limit thier internet usage and also as BI mentioned, for parents.
Its actually not a bad idea at all!
I suppose it is a good thing for those who don;t use internet all the time,,, especially for parents who got kids its good would love to know more about this sevice!
thaaaaaaaanx so very much for telling me abt this card :)
I've got ONE question, have they started this service already?? or not yet? when?
Blue_Chi 27-04-03, 07:59 PM It seems like a good service, but I don't think that I would use it because I also use the internet too much.
Kamakazy 27-04-03, 08:55 PM a hayeak for the internet...
will it cost more, if so there is no point init...
whats up with the site? it doesnt work from here in auzzie land...
Solidus 02-05-03, 01:11 PM It is a very good idea for me, as I don't always have complete permission to use the net :(....
And yeah, what is the difference between this one hour card, and the one hour on the normal internet, I think that the net cafe is gonna lose everything...
so far there are two cards available , the 10 rials card for 41 hours , and the 6 rials card for 20 hours of interent usage. u do the math , as its 180 baizas per hour for the normal registered service.
Arabian Princess 04-05-03, 10:35 AM its 300 baizas for the 6 rials card and 250 baizas for the 10 rials cards.
well the price is high for those capable of getting an internet account. but its good if you are planing to restrict your payment for internet, coz at least you will manage to count how many hours u spent online.
DeSerTDesTroYeR 23-05-03, 07:09 PM alright...anyone tried those pre-paid cards yet?... anything worth noticing about them? ...

I haven't tried them YET! But I will soon...
About how u use them, I've used many of them Jordan, I'm not sure if they are the same, but mostly yes...
Ofcourse they look like the Hayyak card things... But they have 2 places covered with that thing that u take off with a key or a coin and find numbers under it on the Pre-Paid card... They're will be writte user name and password, and ur sopposed to enter them!
Thats all, easy!
DeSerTDesTroYeR 24-05-03, 12:13 PM interesting....MF_K.... and yes it should be somehow similair...
Q. Why are you finding interest in using a pre-paid? (Assuming you already have an internet account).
Since this card or service came out... was it a successful use? Or just another service which doesnt have a big priorty, while there is much more important services to be provided...

Lemmi tell you why I find it interesting, and better than my internet account... but the reson I'm gonna give you is only about me, not everyone... The reason is that I can't use my net account always... My dad stops me when he sees me using it... So, I go and buy CARDs, if I have a card and I'm using it, then my dad won't be able to say anything about it...
As I said, this is only about me, donno about u guyz...
And yes it was a very successful use, most of the teenagers started buying these cards in Jordan and started using them...
But for the people who have an interent account, and they get to use it feely, then they won't need these cards I guess :color:
