I know there are a few footy fans in here. Now i know Oman has a crap team but i know at least 2 or 3 of you that like the beautiful game.

Here are my answers MO.

1) Many reasons. I love the team spirit that comes with playing and supporting the game, the unpredictability of the result, experiencing the losing just because it makes the winning so much better.

2)Since i was 4 im 30 now . so 26 years

3)Thats easy the one and only. Liverpool FC.

4)Has to be England. i'd be chased from my country with ****ty sticks if i said otherwise.

5)Well of all time. Kenny Dalgliesh but now Zidane has to be the greatest player. a total joy to watch.

6)Actually being there. one of these 2. Liverpool beating Manchester Utd at Wembley in the (as it was called then) Milk Cup. 1-0 down with moments to go, equalised in the dying seconds and went on to win in extra time. Pitch side tickets, about 11 years old and gettting a thumbs up from the great Kenny and Mr Souness on their lap of honour made my life!!!

That or the FA cup. Conventry V Spurs.. purely cos tickets for the FA cup are gold dust. Conventry were massive underdogs so i supported them. they won the game and everyone (except the spurs fans that is) went totally nuts..

Most memorable game ever seen on tv has to be a very close race between these 2.

England 5 Germany 1. world cup qualifier in Munich. our finest hour

or England V Scotland in the Euro 96 championships. Seamans penalty save and Gazzas goal of the century.. Find me an english man who disagrees and ill question their nationality.

7) yup once or twice a week. normally five a side.

ok hoppy i thought we were talking about the beautiful game so why do u have to bring English football into the discussion!!!!! but hey Liverpool at that time were on another level. joy to watch. i used to love watching John Barnes (late 80s, early 90s).

Yeh Liverpool were a different class then. One of the most successfull teams in the world i believe

winning the first division a record 18 times. the FA cup 6 times. The League cup 7 times, the european cup 4 times. super cup twice, uefa cup 3 times. I think we pretty much set the standard for achievement in football. So what was that about English football not being beautiful.

Let me know when chelsea can boast such stats eh.. lol. .

not going to get into a footy arguement i posted to share my views on the great game. so lets hear your answers to your questions MO.

before i start one little fact; the Chinese invented football. but anyways i like english football. very exciting.

1. i like football cause that all knew all my life. i grew up in an a house where everybody liked football. it's just part of life.

2. i've been a fan for as long as i can remember. i must've been 2 or 3 when i first started playing.

3. fav clubs. in Oman, best team in the country of course; AlNasr. on the international scene i have two; Real Madrid and Chelsea

4. Brazil, Brazil and Brazil

5. my all time fav player is Maradona and currently Zizo

6. Brazil x France in the 86 world cup

7. yay whenever i find the time.

Locally Dhofar (*_*) International , Chelsea and Real !

Argentina ( Grasshopper !!) and Italy !

Ever Maradona , and Zidane currently !

yeah , as often as i can ! got injured so many times coz of football, but still luv it !

hey i am not lying , i support Real beside AC Milan and Chelsea of course ! i have one fav team in each country !

I start supporting Chelsea since i was in the 4th grade ;)

well..i've only seen like what? 4 matches..and all by force cause my friends were football freaks. anyways..i dont remember! lol. i've seen last years world cup final match though. and it was terrible. :p

not really. i did play a million times though..but if i played it would be for a few laughs here and there..cause am terrible. :D
