I misread your question, I was not aware American civilians have chemical protection suits.

If true, I doubt it applies to very many.

US and UK forces in Iraq, on the other hand, are all equipped with protection suits.

Common sense dictates you take all necessary protection when going up against a dictator who had demonstrated the ability to use chemical weapons in the past.

Hence the chemical suits carried by the Freedom Forces.

And I have also seen the video of the find of 1000's of chemical suits abandoned by the Iraqi army.

Whoever came up with the idea of selling masks in the states must have made millions . As we all know that this war is not for freeing Iraq alone there are major companies benifits from the situation.

If you look carefully, I think you will find that I wrote the following in response to your question:

I am not personally aware of any American civilians who have bought such suits. That isn't to say some haven't - I just think that, if true, the numbers must be very small.

This is, of course, a long way away from the point of the thread, which was to discuss why it is that Iraqi forces have been issued with chemical protection suits when the US and UK forces to do have chemical weapons.

I don't recall reading about an huge demand for chemical suits in the US. But I take your word for it.

Don’t get me wrong here.. Iam against the WMD as you are .. but My point is The American and the British Administration propaganda when they say we want to protect the American people ( misleading here by the US president and the British Prime Minister).
By hook or crook they want to prove to the world that Iraq has the WMD . Yet there was no proof what so ever that they had , according to the statement made by the inspectors.
Yes we all have our doubts and we all agreed that the inspectors need more time and yes the Iraqis were playing games .
