Further protests against the military action in Iraq are to take place across the United Kingdom on Thursday.
As the US-led attack on Iraq runs into a second week, anti-war movements are saying they will keep pressure up on US President George W Bush and Prime Minister Tony Blair.
The largest demonstration on Thursday is expected to be in London where students are planning a rally in Westminster before they march to the US embassy.
Organisers say Labour MP Jeremy Corbyn will be speaking at the rally. A lunchtime vigil is also planned.
Later on Thursday, about 100 women are expected to take part in what organisers are describing as an "Argentinean style saucepan banging anti war demonstration".
