I hear that an Omani force was sent to Kuwait. Can someone tell me how many soldiers are part of this force and what are they doing there exactly?

How many, i have no specific number actually.

According to the joint defence agreement, all countries of the GCC should protect any member of it if it falls under an aggression.

There are strong rumors that the Omani soldier have been brought back due to some misunderstanding with the US forces and some Omanis got into fight so I hear .
Another rumors that 6 bodies of Omani soldiers ( You know how people discuss in funerals here) that they were KIA's .
That’s why Oman official newspapers had to clarify that it was not true .. I wonder if there is any truth in the rumor.

Another story which is been told by the family of the 6 Omani soldier is that there was a huge argument of that when the US troops gave the masks and utilities they gave it to the Bahraini and Qatari and Kuwaiti and Saudi soldiers and did not give the Omani soldiers.
Could be only rumors .

Negotiation with the Omani special forces are underway to look into the possibilities of sorting out the fat pig who rules Israel after their mission in Iraq.

So far I know that Oman government is not taking part in this war.

Unfortunatly they are ..Major part of AGCC 'Peninsular Shield' forces which ofcourse H.M 's idea since the GCC countries formed .

Where else would they be trained except in Britain, a country which has always welcomed Omanis as its own distant cousins and which rendered massive assistance to Oman in the early 70s during the period of instability.

I Dont really know how true is those rumours based on, and if its true that we are in front line to fight Iraq then its so SAD, but again as mentioned its all based on rumours and let us hope its not true as our relationship with Iraq goes so strong.

This is no true .. the Omani troops did not engage in any fightings and no one has been killed. In fact Oman govt refused to join the American troops when they were asked.

so, no one was killed. Its just a rumoer and as it is said its part of the agreement to creat the gulf shield.
