I don't understand you main point of you and what is it your trying to post here.

Please do not generalize your statement as you do not know these people. Kindly do not use the race or culture, the color of skin, eyes or hair to prove your disagreement of ONE experience you have encountered that made you say so.

Just remember,..... every human being do gossip, even a fool do gossip to himself/herself. Gossip is nature. The only thing to consider is whether the gossip is for constructive or destructive.
