I took some photos of my art work - it's not very good - scanning is better!!!!!! But it's something - i'll try to scan!!!!

Nice pice of work :) it looks you are affected alot by the character of the dragon.

I suggest to remove the last one ! violation to sabla rules.

Well well well... Chouch my friend, i'm sorry but you couldn't give me enough money to draw you naked and in person mate. :)

What you could do is post a picture of yourself on the sabla and then i could draw it... if you wanna be naked be naked... i'm sure that we would all love you see you like that. :wink:

It would indeed be something special - but i'm sure it would only be something that a mother could love... :D

Very nice drawings Jumanjima and you seem to like imaginative work. I really like the first dragon too and the eyes one is somehow intriguing and interesting.

I notice that your medium is pencil. Do you used other mediums like charcoal or paint? Do you draw using an existing picture as exemple or is it the creation of your own imagination?

Nah... i meant to say that there isn't enough money in the world - But if he's willing to put his picture on the sabla, then i would draw him :D

I love mythical creatures and work that involves alot of imagination. And as i said the eyes are the window to the soul, so if you can't get them right, it ruins the work, no matter how amazing it is. That's why i practise drawing those the most.

I like to use: Chalk, charcoal (combining these two is great - good for texture and all that). With painting though, my favorite is Acrylic - it's such an amazing medium. I like to do detail right away you see - so i can outline the drawing/painting and then get straight into detail.

Sometimes it's in my imagination - other times i use pictures for help - although i have discovered that sometimes i will have looked at a picture in the past and then i'm able to draw or paint it from memory - without even realising :D

More art work will be on the way... i hope :wink: (uni is time consuming)

Hey Najah :)

I haven't joined any competions or gotten any awards, my last art teacher hated my work, so i was a "shame" on the art department.
I started drawing properly when i was about 14 - that's when art acctually ment something (gradewise for me). I always loved art and was good but it wasn't until GCSE that there was any recognition for it.
I only draw still life stuff if i have to :D But sometimes it's good to draw still life and then turn it into something else :wink:
My favorite artists are the artists of the DragonLance Saga - they have some of the most imaginitive work that i have ever seen! I love their work!
