Hi

I think bookkeeping is the begin of accounts

Book keeper is accountant assistant his jobs is:-

Filing and sorting documents relative to the accounts like bank advices any correpondences sent for transfers etc..

Preparing payment vouchers

Preparing journal vouchers

Preparing petty cash analysis

Posting accounts

Finally printing trial balance

Then it will go to accountancy for management account


Thats what I think..

The books commonly used are a daybook, cashbook, journal, and ledger.
