I ve noticed that the number of views of this Thread is 110 so far !! while the replies are 6 or 7 i think !!

Anyone could figure out the reason behind this ?!!

It's coz i put a link down in my signature to this thread ,, this link doesn't have the same title , in fact it has a very attracting title :

So far it sounds silly Does it ?!, and it might continue like this :rolleyes: but anyway ,, i just want to know how members react to threads title !!

Do you usually open all threads and see what they are talking about , then decide wether you gonna reply or not ,, or you just do quick scanning through the titles and choose the most attractive ?

Does a thread title affect how many replies it gets ?

Does a thread title affect the member point of view b4 even checking what this thread contains ? One might check the thread and all in his mind that it's not that serious thread ,as the title tells !!

abt me, I'm usually attracted by the title.. I don't open what looks appealing but what am interested in.. I don't like long titles.. unless they have sth important or novel.. sometimes some hot news like the squ girls and shisha draw everyone's attention.. it's sth unusual so ppl would for sure read it..

When it comes to the Sablas I moderate, I do open all the threads no matter their titles and read every posts. I will usually put a replies if needed.

When it comes to the other Sablas, I will open at a thread which title attracts my attention; however, I will still open at threads with a lots of replies. In general, a lots of replies mean that the topic is either interesting or that there is an argument ;)

eaxactly ,,i have noticed that several times , the first post could drive a serious thread to end up a silly one ,, or a fight !!

i saw ur thread..and i didnt even click on it..cause i knew it was gonna be missleading..as i check the sabla regularly...and i never came accross a thread with that title. :rolleyes:

anyways.. it is indeed amazing ;)

quite interesting...hmm...i think i saw the link..but ...quite didnt care..about it..dunno why!...i guess didnt have time for that...and didnt find the point of it..anyway....

when i have more time..i would click on any title..i think i can participate in..or at least find something interesting in it...

weither the title was attractive or not...i would be interested to know whats going on in there..:)

other times..when i dont have the time..i would simply skip every thread..which ...i might not have time to post my opinion about....weither i was interested or not...:)

overall...the title...is quite important.....and the more it summarized the idea of the topic..the better...and remember the title..should target those who are interested in it...not everyone..cause..thats more likely how you could get a replies with a reasonable ratio of views.
