Salam,
During the rule of Sayyid Said bin Sultan (1807-56), Oman's control spread to Zanzibar and other parts of East Africa in addition to provinces in Persia and Gwadar in Baluchistan.
The death of Sultan Said ibn Sultan in 1856 prompted a further division: the descendants of the late sultan ruled Oman (Thuwaini ibn Said Al Said, r. 1856-66) and Zanzibar (Mayid ibn Said Al Said, r. 1856-70); Zenzibar got independance completely from Omani sultan in 1964, Sultan Jamshid, the latest sultan of Zebzibar.

At the middle Sayyid Barghash bin Said, brother of Sayyis Majid, Sayyid Barghash had full support from Alharthy tribes against his brother, but he couldnt take over.
Born 1837, he is the thierd sultan of zenzibar, one of the good memories of him that he used to offer free transpportation from Africa or Oman to Alhaj (KSA) for free every year, deid in1888.

Alsayyid Ali bin said bin sultan, there was not alot of information about him but he became as a governer in 1890 after the death of his brother Alsayyid Khalifah bin Said , and deid in 1893.
