Salam brothers and sisters,
To whom really want to help and llighten brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers and chideren of iraq

we have already establish one way which is through the pray and if you participate you will have your thawab from Allah In sha'a Allah.

there is another way i have seen in other site by using a telephone call to Iraq, doing that will be very helpfull in encouraging iraqi people to withstand to feel them you are with them, to introduce a little happiness to iraq family and to pray for them, tell them we are supporting you, tell them that iraq and all islam countries are one ask them to be petient and Allah will protect them. my friend members, be ready to have a brother or sister in iraq now

if you are willing to do so then the method is as follow:

1. By using a telephone (pay phone, home phone, mobile phone), dial international code of iraq (00964) then Baghdad code (1)

2. dial any seven numbers randomly, providing you start with this three numbers (537) or (818), or (443)

3. try to call even for one minute and imagine how you are going to introduce hapiness to any family you can talk to childeen or any family members

4. please don't give up and try again, and finally you will have your thawab from Allah

I got this from a forwarded email, would like to share with all:

Hope: At this critical juncture when war is the buzz word of the War Mongers, many Muslims are left in despair and in a state of hopelessness. It may seem that the death of millions of innocents is now inevitable, but we must continue to strive our utmost to defend them and to spread the truth about this immoral war.

-Above all, we must remember that Allah Ta'ala has control over all things and can provide help in ways we do not even understand.

-Not even the 'greatest' superpower can overpower Him! No falsehood is to remain forever.

-No oppression is to remain forever.

-After hardship comes ease.

-The bitter reality of the Muslim nation will come to an end, and tomorrow will be definitely better than today.

-We should have HOPE in the ALL encompassing MERCY and HELP of Allah Ta'ala under all circumstances, whether it be in victory, defeat, happiness or sadness.

Ibn Abbaas(radhiyallahu anhu) reported that : " I was(once) behind Nabi (saaw) when he said to me: 'O son ! I shall inform of a few things: Remember Allah, and He will protect you. Remember Allah, and you will find Him close to you. When you have to ask for something, ask of Allah Ta'ala. When you require aid, seek His aid. Believe firmly that if all the creation desires to benefit you in anything, they can never benefit you, but, that which Allah has decreed for you. If they ALL unite to harm you, they will not be able to harm you in anything, but that which Allah has decreed for you."

Duaa: Make ernest, sincere duaa. Try to shed tears and beg Allah Ta'ala to alleviate the suffering of the Muslims in Iraq; and other places where Muslims are oppressed, not forgetting to make duaa for the brave "Human shields ". Beg Allah Ta'ala with sincerity.(like a child begging his mother). Also, conscientise the family and the children at home to also make duaa.

Salat Al-Nafl : Even if one is not a regular performer of Tahajjud salaat; at least for the sake of the lives of the innocents; get up at the time of Tahajjud and perform two rakaats of salaah; contemplate on the sufferings, that the Ummah is facing today; beg Allah Ta'ala for His Divine Help and assisstance.Shed some tears; Ask for Forgiveness and help for the Abstention from sin and for Allah Ta'ala's Divine Solution..

Participate in Peace Rallies and Anti -war campaigns: keeping in mind the shariah injunctions of good character, proper conduct, hijab, peace etc.

To be continued..

Charity(Sadaqah): Give some charity(sadaqah) on behalf of the Muslims in Iraq; on behalf of the orphans; the widows;the martyrs and those that are the victims of oppression. This sadaqah may even be a loaf of bread or bottle of milk to a needy person in your area.

Fast: Keep a nafl fast on any day of one's choice. At the time of breaking one's fast ;Beg Almighty Allah Ta'ala, to alleviate the sufferings of the Muslim Ummah in Iraq and other parts of the world where Muslims are unjustly being oppressed.

Relief and Financial Aid: The lives, homes and infra-structure of the people of Iraq have been devastated over the last 12-15 years. Assist by aiding financially to a legitimate Relief agency in your area. Spare ourselves from over indulgences and financially aid our Brothers and sisters in this hour of need.

Make News outlets Aware: Keep a vigilant eye on the news outlets; magazines etc. and respond timeously to their bias comments and views. Participate in phone-in sessions on the Radio. If one is unable to do so; make those who are able to do so; aware of such comments; articles etc. so that timeous responses are made. Forward pertinent and relevant articles you come across to the International and local media outlets.

Surat Yaseen: At these trying times, it would be beneficial to recite Surah Yaseen daily and beg through it's blessings for the Help of Allah Ta'ala .

Useful supplications (ad3iya): One may read these beneficial ad3iya; 100 times daily during times of calamity and distress.

(i) "Hasbunallaahu wa ni'mal wakeel": Allah is sufficient for us and our Guardian.

(ii) "La ilaaha illa anta subhaanaka inni kuntu mina althaalimeen": There is none worthy of worship except You. Certainly I am amongst the wrongdoers

It was reported that the prophet (saaw) said that whosoever helps a Muslim at the time of loss of honour and humility; will receive Help from Allah when he is in need of help..

<Center>This is a time for unity and solidarity with the innocent people who are
under attack. We are urged to do whatever we can for them, from the smallest action to the greatest.
LET US PARTICIPATE IN SOME HUMBLE WAY - FOR THE SAKE OF PEACE AND SANCTITY OF LIFE.</center>

Excellent Bimi, Gazaki Allhu AlfuAlfu Khair, Wishing from Allah to keep this/your effort in your goodness in doomsday.

this is really great idea and shows very clear how can we participate or at least support our muslims brothers.

In this regard Bimi, I have a suggestion for muslims members here to choose aday for fasting and all of us have to fast except for some reason, and lets pray for iraq and pelestine what do you think......

Please stick it...

Good idea Equality.

Guys don't forget to NOT buy anything made in England or America and Spain. Maintain a list and keep updating it. Buy products of countries against the war. Even if it's quality is poor it will eventually develop.

How many countries are at this illegal war now ?

list:

1- America
2- England
3- Japan
4- Spain

any other you can think of ?

I'm sure your motivations are good...but is this the best you can do for them? Imagine you were worried, terrified that your house might be accidentally hit by a bomb, or that the internal security might be suspicious of you, or thinking of relatives far away...and then some stranger rings you...to tell you they're thinking of you..even though you've never met. You might scare the hell out of them.

How about saving that Riyal from the phone call, and donating it to the International Committee for the Red Cross/Red Crescent, or the UN High Commission for Refugees. It would be a lot more useful.

Here's hoping for a swift end to conflict, and a free Iraq soon in sha Allah.

Now that the war is over, there are plenty of opportunities to put Muslim beliefs into practice by volunteering to go to Iraq to help the sick and temporarily displaced rebuild their lives. Buses are leaving Kuwait City heading north. Arabic speakers preferred.

Go on, seize the opportunity or history will remember that Iraq was redeemed by Christians and "Zionists".

Salam aleikum All :-)

Equality and Bimmi and all contributors, MA sha Allah is all i can say & may Allah bless you all & answer all your du3a and prayers.

Equality, although this is the least we can do , I like your idea so much, I personally think that calling our brothers and sisters in Iraq will actually make them feel so good and i'm sure for those who already have actually called them " got the feeling".

I study abroad/ away from family and when i get calls from my family i feel so happy & loved. I can imagine our brothers and sisters in Iraq who are at WAR and ALONE (although god is with them )!!!! Here iam not at war just studying and the calls of my family made me happy!! what would they our brothers and sisters in Iraq who are at WAR feel? JUST IMAGINE????? happy, loved , and supported they will feel when we call them. It will give them hope, more faith, and patience, and a feel of brotherhood of Islam and that we are all as ONE.

To the person who said what does this have to do with Islam.. drawing a smile on your brother/sister's face is Sadaqa... what will a phone call be? just think about this?

Jazakum Allah alf khair all :-) & may Allah bless you all...

Please, a phone call? I'm sure a phone call will help them alot to feed their families. Isntead of wasting 500 baisa making the phone call send it to Red Cross (CROSS YESS CROSS CHRISITAN ORGANISATION THAT HELPS FOR REAL) so they can buy medical equipment for something useful. People don't want your pity they want to eat............

I see i am in hypocrisy sub sabla xcuz me, i feel ill im leaving.

Expressing your solidarity to Iraqis is a noble attempt. It would be excellent if you take any practical action. But I will request you to examine the cause of war? Do you think the problem with the Arabs and Iran is over?
