Sometimes when I install a game, and try to run it, it will give me the error : Please insert CD... While the CD is inside the computer!!!

So, I learned this trick which ya'll know, the crack copying thing...
But as I had heard, if you download Crack from the internet and copy it in the games directory, you will be able to play the game without CD!!! Is it True?

listen as I know the crack is already in the CD's you may install (like red alert 2) if you know it .My school did it and nfs4 if u know it .
And about that erorr u saied from your letter you know how to fix it .

Yeah thats true... and as suggested above.

If ur CD is a FAKE one then usually u have the crack on it :D

About fake CD's, well, my CD isn't a fake, that explains why it hasn't got a crack file on it...
But don't forget, I can easily get it from the net!!!

Well, Crack is a very simple file, that could correct a couple of problems when u want to install a copy cd game on your computer, it helps the computer know that the game's cd is inserted into the computer and ready to play!

A device?! Well, as I know about crack files, they don't need no devices or programs, you just copy the crack file and paste it over the exe main file in the games directory, thats how I use it!

ok, is it like this: I have some games/anaasheed CD's.. I insert them in.. go to the my comuter thing.. choose the name of the CD from the browser thing.. and then i have all the files in the CD and I copy them into a file I'v made..

Alright Floret, some CD's have this crack file, not all of them, I think that it depends on if the CD is a copy or not...

Anyway, I only use the crack file if I install the game, and then try to play it, but the computer asks for the CD while it is inside!

If this happens and you want to use the crack, then open:

My Computer/The CD's Browser/A Folder Call "Crack"/ (The name of the game).exe

You copy the file: (The name of the game).exe into the folder were you installed the game in and sometimes it will ask you to overwrite, its no problem to overwrite, after done, open the games folder/the crack file that you copied into it, and done...

thaaaaaaaaaaanx alot.. it never happened to me that it asks to ensert the CD while it's in :) but in case it happens I'll follow the steps.. btw, the program crack.. does it exist in every pc? or do we have to download it?

Actually every program has it's unique crack.
Every crack has it's unique purpose too.
So for a single program u can get more than a single crack.

A crack is a kind of a program that alter the original settings in a way to do what is required from it.

So no it doesn't exist in every computer.
U need to download or get the crack u require. :)

Wait EviliO, I thought that Crack files and programs are only Available in copy CD's, and on the net...
And u can't find it in an original CD, that why DD said that it was illegal...

a crack... is used..to over-rides an original default setting..as in games... most games require the CD game to be in the CD - drive... but if you have a for example " no - cd crack " it will alter that default setting and doesnt require a CD anymore..and work with out it....

some other cases..you will need to copy certain files...from the CD if you want to use the crack..as those files will be needed...so you copy them to the game folder..so that the crack work..and the game goes on smoothly.

and yes....cracks...are programs....that mostly computer gamers create....:D so everyone else..can enjoy.... there are many ways to get around such things and many methods to crack....soo as it been mentioned..it all depends and every program or game..has its own crack... even sometimes every version of this programs or games require a different crack.

alright...hmm no its not spliting the Cd content....let me say it in another way...

lets...say...u got this game on a CD

to play this game...you have to always have the CD in the Cd - rom (the place where you put the CD)...

but what this hmm crack - specific program only for this game - does is that it allows you to play the game without the CD to be in the CD - Rom...

there is always instructions to how to use the crack and what steps are needed... example of copying certain files from the CD is need or not.
