i double checked my information and found that the ship which was sent to Al-basra is called al-rayhana not sultana..
sultana is the ship which is sent to USA by the Omani embassedor.

Mate , are you sure here that you're talking about Britain and not Italy , coz as far as i know , it was Italy that invaded Lybia at that period of time ,,and the Italian who arrested Omar Al Mukhtar , and by the way , Omar was not kiiled by hanging , he was killed by fired squad !! There's a street in Italy called after his name !

Salam, i have question regarding Oman - Iraq relation. Historically Oman had and have a great relation with Iraq, and we dont want to forget Oman role in Kuwait-Iraq the seconGulf war, oman was the only gulf country contue relation with Iraq.

In history there was a situation that Iraq was invanded by perisian, and Iraq governer that time sent a letter to get support from Oman, who was the Oman governer that time and what was the action has taken, this story showed the real relation with iraq and how Oman support Iraq as a muslim country.

therefore japanease ships must cross these dectectors before they launch the planes......

I looked for the info and I found that the US were fully armed and alereted.. they didn't expect to be attacked by the Japanese who were secretly preparing.. furthermore, the US was thinking that the Japanese wouldn't be able to do anything since the American fleet was on Japan's flank.. so when they got the warnings from the 2 reporters the FBI didn't not believe them.. here's what happened..

10 August 1941, the top British agent, code named "Tricycle", Dusko Popov, told the FBI of the planned attack on Pearl Harbor and that it would be soon. The FBI told him that his information was "too precise, too complete to be believed. The questionnaire plus the other information you brought spell out in detail exactly where, when, how, and by whom we are to be attacked. If anything, it sounds like a trap." He also reported that a senior Japanese naval person had gone to Taranto to collect all secret data on the attack there and that it was of utmost importance to them. The info was given to Naval IQ.

Good try Fahad and Floret ,, but still it's not the reason behind disregarding the operators reports !

It's true that US was aware of an attack by the Japanese , but they didn't know , in which area it gonna be , coz at that time , there were many areas in which Japan could attack the US , Like Philipines , and the areas near by under the US control which stop the the Japanese from extending their empire !

Another point , is that some people argue that , the US president Roosvelt , was fully aware of the attack and it gonna be on Pearl Harbour,,but he did nothing , and those who argue that , say the the reason is to enter the World War II , without any objection by the politician and public !

well.. it was on the 6th August 1945 when the Little Boy was thrown on Hiroshima

on the 8th of the same month it was the Fat Man on Najazaki
