MUSCAT — Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel) SAOC will be launching only two types of prepaid cards – the Hayyak (GSM) and the fixed line (Jibreen) next week, informed sources told the Times of Oman yesterday.

The date of the launch is also expected to be February 12, instead of February 13, they added, noting that Omantel was hesitant about the launch on February 13 because of the superstition associated with the date. The correct date will be informed to potential subscribers soon, as there is also a chance that it may be introduced on February 14.

I cannot think what's going on in this world, how on earth we in this Islamic Country are being dragged into such a unislamic thoughts and make it very public.

Even the Christian themselves, are confusing in this issue.

The Friday 13th is good day but the rest of 13th are bad.
