mistrust it is when you trust someone you shouldnt.

distrust it is when u dont trust someone.

hmm..thats how i understand it.....

Yea mistrust is when you trust someone that isnt worthy of your trust and distrust is when you have no trust in anyone at all.

That sounds more logical than what the dictionary says:

Distrust :
the lack or absence of trust

mistrust:
a lack of confidence : DISTRUST

any input about the dictionary definitions?
