If you knew you were going to die tomorow and you could only make one phone call...Who would you call and why are you waiting?

I often thought about the above statement...anyone have any comments??;)

I would call my parents & make sure they r fine..

what about the other part??!!why are you waiting? I didn't get yr point..

this was part of the quote, actually the post was a quote that i really liked and its sort of philisophical so i just wanted to know what you thought about it and if you could actually answer the question.

As for me, If i could only call one person it would be God to see if i could get another chance...and WHY AM I WAITING??? coz i dont have his number....lol :duh:

well..i wont call anybody...i'll start praying alot and get ready to see the other world..:kewl:

Who would you call?

I'd call someone who wanted to commit suicide or was ill with a deadly disease. Just to make a difference in someone else's life before I go.

Since I'm in australia I'd call my parents,,, coz i still dont know that I'm gonna die tomorrow!!! J/K ,,,, besides they call me every friday. :p (what a reason)

If i was in oman I'd call the person that means the most to me,,, and tell him/her how much they mean to me......

But shouldnt we tell everyone at every chance we get just how much they really mean to us?

Its true we should, and i know that some ppl do try to. BUt u know were not living in this perfect world, we just try our best.

Plus there are some ppl that just know u care ivern if u don't contact for a while. When u finaly meet ,,, u do shouw that u care.

this is too daring Morbid.. got what I mean.. ?

for me since my relatives and friends r here round me .............. then i will call the person who i like most to see how is he or she feeling and tell him or her my feelings .to him or her ............:D

i would call that special person and tell her that i would ok cause being with u is like being in heaven anyway.
why i'm waiting for: cause i hope i'm wrong about the dying part.

Well for me :

i will call a taxi ,,to pick me up to the airport to go to see my parents b4 i !!!

i might call my family to tell them how much i love them and care about them .............:color:

:rolleyes: I dont joke about God! I was saying what i actually wish I could do and then I stated a reason as to why i would be unable to achieve that.

I dont think i could put my family and other loved ones under such pressure. I mean i know they would be very hurt and worried if i called them to say bye for the last time - so i wouldnt be able to do that and I couldnt call and pretend like everything was fine because if i knew i was going to die tomorow i'd probably be very very upset :sorry:

Sometimes its better to leave without saying GOODBYE...

I would call my mother to make sure she;s around to read Quran on my soul as it leaves the body.. I would want her to be the one who washes my dead body and wraps it in white cloth before its sent to the ground..

I've lived all my life with the blessings of her du3a and I'd like to end my life with it.. untill this very day, I cant enter an exam or make a decision before asking her to pray that Allah eases my path.. sub7an Allah, nothing can be as comforting to the heart as a Mother's voice praying for you..

ya ALlah.. the thought of death is scary.. its a blessing that we have no clue when and how we'll be leaving this place..

the best answer so far i seen is the post above ,,

If I am allowed to make only one call, it will be to my husband of course so he could rush by my side with my kids, pray for me and my last vision would be them before I close my eyes forever.

If I am allowed a second call, of course it will be to my mother and family abroad. To tell them how much I loved them and how sorry I am for any harm I might have caused them.

I will reassure them that I am going to a place where inshallah at the end we will meet again.
