I wish this thread will help us all here in sabla.
Lately .. I have noticed that we have alooooooooooot of fights around .. in every week there are at least one or two fights. Beleive this is so frustrating to me. I have been in sabla for two years and what I see now has never been here. We were known with our sense of friendship and the tie between members, no matter what nationality or religion they belong to!!

Now, lets jpin togther to know what is the problem??

How can we solve it??

and lets all make the sabla a better place.

Would help if you could say what kind of problem it is ... then we can find a solution :)

I said it above .. we have alot of fights around. This member insult that membera and that member get back at that member and at the end we have alot of tensiona round.

I am a person who cant live with tension, I hate fights and I hate it espeically in this sabla because when I come here .. I come to enjoy my time .. not to face problems with members!!

Basicly this is the sabla problem .. and she is sad :( and she needs her members help!!

Arabian i think its because the sabla has lots of members, we use to have those memebers before but very few, now that it is growing you would find different memebers from different back grounds, now the ones who swear are all the new ones, you see and as a reaction to that the old members swear back coz they have been attached or whatever..

Somey has a point about having so many different members now.

Also, some members feel they know eachother a little too much so they think they can have some fun with them here. Well this isn't a place to tease/poke fun at anyone. This is a disscusion board so get used to it and save your teasing for pms and msn.

I think there is also tension among middle east vs. west because of the political situation.

No one wants to feel personally hated because of something their government is doing. I feel hated every time I see a signature or thread about hating/chasing/killing americans. But I try to see past that and show you that I'm not evil or stupid because I'm American. whether or not we agree with what politicians are doing, there is nothing more important in times like these than to increase understanding between the PEOPLE. so I stay, and keep talking, even though I feel unwelcome at times because of my nationality.

Moony, I know what you mean but actually I did not consider that. I beleive people should start differnciating between politicians and citizens coz apparantly not what citizens want happen in politics.

what I meant is that am loosing the snese of the warm feeling we used to have in sabla .. yes we had our hot arguments before .. and we used to disagree with each other .. but outside that post, we remained a one family under sabla .. I feel that is less nowadays !!
Maybe am just being senstive about it .. but am missing that warm atmosphere :)

I think this is normal because it's impossible to have ideal sabla.

WEll I think maybe some ppl tend to be sensitive here & do not accept any word from any body, they might take it as an insult for them, while it isn't:lost: .So they think that ppl hate them this is Y they r telling them that & then start fighting & insulting eachother.

Monni :eyes: Do u really think like that??? I didn't accpect that from u, these ppl who think like this r unlogical at all, cauz the citizens of any country r not guilty if their management made a bad decision, actually some times they pay the price of that decision. Look at me we always fight in the religion sabla becauz we have many different beliefs, have u ever felt that I hate u:rolleyes: :D ......I hope not.
So just stay CoOl members & try to understand each other & forgive each other, we r living short life no need to spend it all in fights:wink: .I think the best solution is u PM the person who u think he said some thing u didn't accept it & tell him about that...I'm sure u gonna be close friends more than before...Just think about it.

I mean wherever you go, even in a forum or a chat room you are going to find people arguing or fighting for one reason or another. It just happens and the only thing we can do to help solve the problem is make sure we refrain from becoming one of those people who makes problems!:wink:

Moonchild I'm so sorry you feel that way. I know some people here are rude and assume that any american represents the state's government, thus treat them with disrespect. I must say I admire you for staying on and you should know you are one of the sabla's most valued members. And anytime someone is rude/disrespectful to you or makes you feel unwelcome, know that there are so many more members that enjoy your presence.

I think so too, and most of the people here do that - there are just a few and these seem to be the one's who also get into fights... so maybe there is a connection between anger at the political situation and anger at people on opposite sides of the political fence...

Not at all!!! Fight? Did we ever fight? :D I enjoy a good debate :) I was only referring to threads, posts, and signature lines that get into the "burn americans" stuff. That's getting a little personal... because it's advocating hurting ME if they ever saw me.

RA, thanks for your kinds words. I truly enjoy being here and hope that maybe a few people who had a prejudice of Americans may have learned a little. I know I certainly have learned a lot about the culture of Islam and the middle east, and you guys have opened my eyes about a lot of mis-perceptions that I had!

In general, the sabla goes through these cycles, I've been on more than a year and every few months it gets tense, but we always seem to get back on track :)

How about having fighting sabla ,,??
