Dont you sometimes get deja vu?! what i mean by that is like sometimes when u do something or see something it seems like u have seen it before!! one usually says "yes i think i have dreamnt of this part" what is the real secret behind such things?

This happenes to me so many times, sometimes i see something and i could tell what would happen after it.. its like i have seen it in a dream or something..

it does happen to me too.

was talkin about it the other day to my friends and they said it happened to them too. they couldont explain it. it just happens!!:confused:

personally sometimes i feel that i ve seen somethin b4 i go to bed but i can describe it. but u know u have seen b4 when it happens in real life even if it was after months or even years!!

well Navi let me try to make it little bit clear ,,, um Deja Vu is the feeling that you are doing something that you have done before.:)...... and the Deja Vu does not have to refer to just sight memories, but also can refer to memories of familiararity brought on by sounds, smells, tastes, or even a touch. These memories are often foggy but sometimes the person experiencing Deja Vu will know what is just about to happen at the moment of the feeling. :rolleyes:

well deja vu ,,,,,,,,occuring more often in women than in men. :D
There is no reasonable explanation as to why deja vu occurs.
umm so .....Some say that it may be an experience from a past life.
Others believe that the deja vu experience may be triggered from a long forgotten memory or from our unconscious..:wink:
And still others think that there is a lag time in our perception of things and what we think of as deja vu is really our mind catching up with ourselves, so to speak :)

as I can see most ppl have it ,,,

This thread is somewhat related to the topic about being an extraordinary person. I think having a de ja vous is a very normal thing in both males and females. Everyone has different interpretations as to why it happens, but i agree with what louts said, that is how i would have explained it!:rolleyes:

I get them alot.....It freaks me out somtimes...I mean...
Here I am...sitting in the car with my dad..talking to my bro..and suddenly it hits me that somehow...somewhere This situation has happened before and we'd be having the exact same conversation..but i'd be like 10 years old or so.... weird,huh?!

I think it has something to do with a person's previous life...(dont mock me,yes i do believe in this!)... I mean...having this weird feeling about a certain situation, and finding ur self knowing what might happen next or know what somebody is about to say can only mean that it has happened before!!! in a previouse life!

mmmm It does happen to quit often as well..I remember i used to bug some of my friends about this then someone told me that she read or heard about it cant really remember that (ehehhe dont laugh it sounds somehow strange) that our souls while we are asleep or so goes i dont know where..then it meets some other souls out there..and It occurs when you see one person and be like Gosh i saw this somewhere..
Actually they say your soul met his soul some place :gap: and thats why bl bla bla bla...

Anyone who mocks anyone else's beliefs is being disrespectful. You, like anyone else are entitled to your own beliefs dear, so don't worry about the sceptics.:)

Personally, I have always believed that our souls communicate with each other when we are asleep. I can just imagine them going on wild adventures together, or having midnight tea-parties where they plot and plan their next episode of 'The Souls of the Beautiful'.

Keeping this in mind then, I would therefore link deja vu with this meeting of souls. Perhaps our souls had an identical conversation or experience (if one can call it that), and we just happened to tap into our innermost sensitivities at some specific moment thus exposing it in the worldly tangible realm as what we refer to as deja vu.
