For argument's sake however, let us pretend that all the hysterical propaganda about the evil Saddam Satan is true, what makes Bush any different if he were to impose an unwarranted nuclear-powered pre-emptive strike on another nation? Devastating it to its very core, leaving it with decades worth of damage to repair? Who can honestly claim that the benefits of war outweigh the cost of it?

War has NEVER been an answer, so who's to say that it is now, in 2003, when the weapons available to us are far more catastrophic than ever before? And who made the decision that Israel, UK, and the US are entitled (mature, trustworthy, and 'good' enough) to retain weapons of mass destruction but Iraq, Pakistan and North Korea are not???? That's a load of ******** if ever I heard it.

Is the US prepared to take in the estimated 900, 000 refugees that will result as a consequence of even a 2-week war? Are they prepared to invest billions upon billions of dollars in rebuilding the infrastructure, re-establishing a medical system, education system, etc for the war-torn nation of Iraq? Pardon my scepticism, but somehow I think not.

Seems to me that the only thing they are likely to do is act as an oil broker/oil controller for the poor uneducated homeless gullible helpless desperate Iraqi people once they have convinced them (through the devastation of war) that they are not capable of doing it themselves.

Therefore Fats, my utopian dream for the coming months is this:

The UN finds there is not enough evidence to support an attack on Iraq. This finding is supported by the majority of the World's population.

International efforts are made to assist an internal coup in Iraq whereby Saddam is removed from office (with minimal fatalities if any), and the Iraqi people are given the necessary aid to commence rebuilding their nation (beginning with the lifting of those ridiculous sanctions).

Bush goes home and fails to regain office in the coming election, or better still, he resigns out of embarrasment for failing to achieve his economically motivated objective of gaining a stronghold on the natural resources in the middle east. This is soon followed with a bill of rights banning any future 'Bushes' from being elected president.

Blair follows, resulting in his disappointed wife filing for a divorce and marrying the newly elected US poppet UK prime minister .

Howard is caught in an indecent predicament with a parlimentary employee of the same gender, and also resigns, moves to Tahiti and learns to do the hula.

And the world lived in perfect harmony until Brenda passed on and dumbo married the tranny.

America's first concern is to keep the trade of oil in the hands of OPEC....and the multinationals.......they are the backbone of the world energy supplies...and affect the entire process of technology in the world......but to say that America is after the oil is strange, because there are about 30 countries who control the supply and demand..and nededless to say the top countries are Arab......in fact OPEC controls the price, NOT America or Britian.....

If the sanctions were lifted Iraq would sell as much oil to multinational oil companies as usual. It owes about 100 billion dollars form war damage.

The system is NOT perfect........ It's better than in the hands of misguided people like Saddam Hussein, who along with other misguided crazy muslims...so called mullahs, who issue fatwas...to kill innocent people and children are provoking war with the west..... Now there's your evil people......They are dragging Islam into the absyss......and the entire region into war.
