I tend to agree with 4everyoung.. Actually a person like that is realistic and I do respect that in a person.
Although he may get into so many troubles and problems as being straight forward as we live in a world full of white lies and blue lies and techni Colour lies .

Erm, I've been told so many times I see things only in black or white.... no gray. :duh: It just means that the person see's things clearly without doubt...... and doesn't make any acceptions. :)

there are right and wrong things but it is up u to decide which is right and which is wrong!!

lots of things in our lives are in the grey area as u said cuz we dont wanna see the whole truth sometimes! and a lot of things u cant just say that they are either right or wrong but u have consider the satuation and measure the consequences!!

i wouldnt call that person a negative person... thats so awful and gives a real bad image about the person where he is just an honest truth-saying guy.

and u cant say u like some kind of ppl just because they have rights and wrongs in thier lives, there are other things that u should consider.

one more thing is the majority of ppl nowdays unfortunatly are smooth talkers and dont tell the whole truth

Well I wouldn't consider such a person as being negative. There are situations where you have to choose, either black or white, no gray, but then again, there are other conditions that require some flexibility, like coming to a solution that would suit everyone.

I would not see such person as negative, but rather as very confident of him or herself. Looking only in one direction doesn't necessarily mean that they are right though...

I think the idea of someone seeing things in just black and white, kind of makes them ignorant to new ideas.
I'd like to think that people could view certain issues from multiple dimensions and multi colours rather than just sticking to white and black.
I mean we live in a world with so many different cultures and nationalitys and races - and so if we could have a multi cultural understanding towards people who are different than us - then we shouldnt be seeing things in just BLACK AND WHITE.

I think you are missing the concept of what she meant with regards Black and white .. meaning she is straight forward in her dealings with people .
She did not mean she is black and white to new ideas correct me if Im wrong el7ilwa

I think the concept of black and white has many different interpretations to many people, so thats why i explained my view of it in my last response.

Dark project U r right I didn't mean the ideas, I ment the standerds of life & this is the same in all cultures, Lie, cheat, ......etc r bad things( black), while honesty & loyallity ....etc r good things (white).

Ok ice tea Y not I'll give u examples & barriers which I face them in my life becauz of my negative personality.
Between the ppl: U know ppl don't like any body to tell them the truth about them selves, so becauz I don't use to lie at all I tell them the truth & what I like & what I don't like, what is wrong to do & what is good. What is suitable 4 them to wear as muslims girls & what is not suitable......etc. So they might hate me or in other word hate my hounesty, & say that I'm negative person & complicated girl:rolleyes: ... & don't speak with me:rolleyes: ....but the surprise is they return later to me when ever they face serious prb to take my advice:eyes: ...they say we can not trust the other girls cauz they might not tell us the truth like u, & u say the truth even if it is hurt:duh: ...So what do u think about ppl now:lost: .

Thanx el7ilwa for the explanation, but I don't know why u call call yourself negative person if you know you are doing the right thing which is the things muslims should do to advise other muslims when they see a mistake inforont of them and try to change it by hand and if not possible by tounge and if not possible by heart as our profet pbuh told us. Alos the muslim is a mirror to another muslim to see his mistakes in him and accept his/her advise. I don't think it's better to lie instead of being straight and honest and freinds should trust each other. But it's up to them if they accept your advise or not, your role is to give them the right advise which you think it's correct and rest is up to them.

there are some people who exceed their limits and step in that red level..
I met alot in my life that they tend to bee more in a rude way than to be honest...
Well simple example here in sabla..there are some obviouse member who try to be "HONEST" but it ends to that ugly direction,unfortunatly..

Bro I'm not calling my self Negative at all but I'm showing what ppl think of such ppl now adays by calling them negative ppl. But I call my self hounest, realistic...etc Cauz in the judgment day I wont be asked how many person love u cauz u laied at them or cheated them just to satisfy them. Najah I totally agree with u that every thing has limit, so if I saw my friend wearing unsuitable clothes 4 her I have to tell her u better change cauz u look more beautiful in the other one,but not saying u look soooooo awful like this & this is not sutable 4 u at all:duh: , & I wont walk with u while u r wearing this:eyes: ...this is so rude.

I'll tell u about a girl I know........This girl always looks angry & don't usually speak with others & the 1st time I've heard her speak was when she was yelling at the bus driver & fighting with him!!!! That was horrible ..PoOr man the bus driver....Most girls avoide this girl & don't like her, but when I knew that girl a little I did like her, really cauz I found her very hounest girl & tell the truth what ever it is, even if it might hurt :rolleyes: .
I remeber that I faced her hounesty like the other girls, Once we were sitting & she said" I wanna ask u some thing can I???" I told her sure u can, a9lan u gonna say it even if don't like :D.....she said R u 100% Omani?? Or in other word Is your Mum Omani?? :confused: .U don't know how much I laughed, she said if u don't want don't say....I told her Y u thought that about me I'm 100% Omani sure. She said u don't look like Omanies girls :duh: .I didn't get angry from her ( while I usually do when ppl tell me that).....doesn't she a funny girl ;) .
The most horrible thing when she came to me & told me " I told a girl U r black & u put a lot of foundation cream, which make u look sooooo ugly, so don't do that" & the girl got angry from me??!!
