Girl and boys…Women and Men… in my last subject about the suicidal issue… while I was saying my last replay… a new issue came in to my mind… and I guess it wasn't fare if I said that girls are a lot more stressed than boys since I don't have any brothers or I am not a boy to know… so the question here is… Are girls more stressed than boys and why? :lost:

could be!! especially in our society where they dont have as much freedome!

for the first time i am saying, i totally disagree with you B.I, we do have freedom in our society based on our religion and any freedom has a limit and that limitation is for protection or to avoid stress, and because of this limitation which is set up by islam and quraan we feel no stress at all either man or woman.

back to the issue, It is very difficult to answer specifically your question , as there are many considerations should be taken in, and related to social, econmical and sycological aspects.
However in my openion and as ageneral case man is more stress than woman since he suppose to care about many things related to this life and aiming to create proper social, economical settlement and this will succeed with a help from woman and vice versa (unless if he is careless that is some thing alse to be disscussed).

To add on what samaki have said...

Women are generally more sensitive and that leads to be more volatile. Thus they tend to get easily emotionally affected and I suspect this will lead to the stress especially if it accumulates for sometime without any sort of relief. However, men are more like easy going and they don’t get emotionally so quickly in which makes them less stressful. But when it comes to MEN maintaining his family economical/social stability then it really counts and men will be flooded with STRESS:D :gap: :D

As a girl I can say that yah the girls more stressed than boys in our socities, & I'm not talking about the freedome here cauz it does nothing to them. We have our freedome, but we still feel that we r under the MICROSCOPE where ever we go:( . That makes us uncomfortable & feel soooo depressed.

i dont know if you are jocking about what you said, but i know there is a device called anti-radar available in japanese market , used to send alarm before 200 m from the radar location, it costs around 100 USD, it has adesign like a mirror fixed in you car. (experiened;)

Navigatour....see i am just a 15 years old girl...who partially dont understand what are u saying... but when i said stressed... i say stressed from life ..people..problems... family... school... personal life too... friends... deppression leads after all this... and that is why i mentioned girls as well as boys... not everything woman can complain is feminist... and all that stuff... that is what i mean...and i dont say we need extra freedom... or we wanna be like the boys... coz we could never be like them... or wanna have the same rights.... but the problems are sometimes toooooooO much that we cant take it any more!!! thats all!!:weep:

Well silent captured, I tend to agree with you to a certain extent. Girls usually get more stressed than boys. Maybe it's because women can just get more emotional than boys, I'm not saying that guys have no feelings, but they have a differnt way of expressing it, women can get involved emotional very easily, they would think about the situation in front of them in sooo many different angles it's just amazing! I might say that because I'm like that, and I know a lot of my friends who are very much the same,
So what do the others think about this?

My Stance: Women are not generally over stressed but are forced to be because of societal pressures.

Until not too long ago I was naive enough to think women in all Muslim countries were in perfect harmony -- at peace with themselves and those that mingle with their lives. Was I wrong. :)

I do not think that there is anything wrong with the system of life prescribed by our faith (assuming we are all muslims :) ) but do feel that the men in our part of the world often take illicit advantage of the role granted to them.

For example, men are often the breadwinners and therfore feel that they are in some superficial way superior to their wives - the irony being that women perform a far more critical portion of task to bring up a family yet rarely ever get rewarded.

Sadly, they get taunted and tortured despite trying their best to do the best.

I feel that women should play a stronger role in handling the financial requirements within a family - at the same time I also know that this will only to a social decay.

To summarize, the problem is in men - not women. Is their a solution for their behavior? Not sure, too many before us have tried already.

well i do agree with u Dr.N in every thing u say..as for u frish, when i sais woman i meant woman with different religious back ground...cause belive me they all suffer..but the answer aint man...cause i meant problems from each angel! but u can say it is mostly about man making us stressed,as vice versa.

hii bro,, this system is an old one ,,my friend bought one from london about 90 to 100 £ & tested it in oman & UAE ,, it is active ,,, the shape looks liks a small CD player ,,

eli7ilwa this device doesn't work with human radars ,,it is only for cars speed,,, :D ,,, I advice to use the "3ashwa system ,, it is active ,,,trust me ,,& it is not expensive ..:D

Well u didn't get it Navy Not El7ilwa who scare & hide her self behind '3ashwa which attract ppl & get the ppl attenetion more then the normal girls, cauz we don't use to see it alot in our society. I can remember when I was walking with some girls in the mall while they were wearing '3ashwa cauz they weren't from Oman, so all the ppl were looking at us like elians:duh: ..... so I wont think about it at all:rolleyes: .

well,,as being a guy & little experience in flirting ,, I will tell u that guys don't look at the girls who dress good & walk without making things to attract guys,,, that what i notice ,,,

1stly..al7amdlilaah ,, that we still know our limits ,,,

it is good comparing but all depends on ppl mentality & thoughts ,,, it differs from a city to another ,, it is what ppl got used to ,, looking at girls ,,it is a thing u can difficultily avoid ,,,((sometimes:duh: )) .. so in yr case ,,it might work in the area u live in but not everywhere .. & the other could work within yr area but not that much ,,, coz ppl see it as a strange thing ,, & start commenting on it & bla bla bla ,,,, etc..

one more thing is ,, that is nice to have a problem between yr wife/husband/etc... coz at this case everybody will show how much he/she loves the other ,,, u can't live yr life without prbs,, !!
