Who would you go to advice for , a man or a woman?

And why?

It's not a matter of man & woman ,,it's the mentality he/she got and then decide to go to the one i am gonna ask !!

I agree with Navi. it's the wisdom of the person.. and as well the kind of adivce u need.. sometimes a man is more experienced in sth a woman is not.. like the way to handle financial problems.. and vice versa.. women are experts in bringing up children.. :)

Some men are wise and some women are wise so it does not matter really.

Of course I agree with that. But IN GENERAL who would you prefer?

Men and women have two totaly different ways of thinking if you haven't noticed.

Well runny, I agree with what the others say, for me it depends on the person itself, if it's someone I really trust then it doens't matter whether it was a man or a women, as long as I know that the person will understand me and help me. Most of the time I go to my best friend for adivce, or maybe just to talk, because it always makes me feel better, but then I used to go to some of my teachers, and some were men and talk about my problems..

i always go to my dad ......... he solves my prb as my mom cant sometimes ..........:color:

i would agree with some of the members here...it really depends on the problem itself....some will be able to help with 1 problem ..and some with another one...while the other way around it wont work....soo really depends...

being either a man or woman.....only matters if you prefer an insider opinion....but of course if that person is able to give a good feedback....

to choose someone...you really need to know if you can expect something that can help you from them ....being supportive is important but not enough....they need to be able to advice..and give ideas...and have their own opinions about the problem or situation.

hmm in general...yes...that relates to the nature of the problem...you cant have a specific gender for a specific type of problem....soo it all depends...

Well I usually don't ask any one, but in some cases I go only 4 my mum or my best friend, it depends to the prb I guess, but if it is a matter about the police worning or some thing like that sure I'll go to DAD:D .

yup!! it does!! sometimes you need a man's advice regarding a certain situation! sometimes you need a woman's! so..all depends on the situation!

plus trust plays a major role!! if you trust a person then the gender doesnt matter when it comes for an advice!

i say listen to ur self.. but only trust ur first thought... coz next thing u know there will be a second and a third and fourth and u'll be thinking forever :wink:

i personally would go to both of them...a man and woman..just to see how many wyas can a problem or what sort of adivces can be taken from the 2..and decide which one to go by...but the gender is not much a big matter cause u can never judge a person for his or her gender.

I'd rather go do a woman. :D (No offence guys).

Because, well, as a woman she'd know how I felt better and what I need/want........
