View Full Version : Do we need the U.N
When u read in books, u will find out that the U.N was found for great aims, for helping people and solving the world problems. This body was founded to help humanity at large but seems to have failed totally when it comes to helping the people who really need its help.
for instance, Palestinians are being slaughtered each day by the Jews. The UN passes resolutions to stop this aggression more than their staff passes wind. The "mighty Satan" (as some extremists call it)- USA, uses its veto right to defend the Jews and let the onslaught of the poor Palestinians continue. Then they still have the nerve to ask for a new UN resolution on Iraq to comply with "the global society’s" demands to let American spies (working undercover as weapon inspectors) demolish his rule, just because Bush sees him unfit to rule his own country. Or because Bush, the Satan, wants the petrol that Iraq has to be in his hand otherwise how u can explain the the steps that the U.N has taken with Korea against the steps it had taken against Iraq So do u agree with me that the U.N which was founded to help humanity is doing the opposite
Plz feel free and give ur opinion honestly

On Friday 1st December 2000, the evil hypocritical UN again passed 6 resolutions against the G?d and people of Israel and Jerusalem. These evil and anti-godly resolutions stated that ?the Israeli control over Jerusalem is illegal and therefore has no validity?. This was not enough for them and the resolutions also stated that Israel should withdraw from the Golan Heights and called for self-determination for those they call the ?Palestinians?.
What is even more evil in this resolution is that 145 nations supported the resolution about Jerusalem and only Israel was against it! Even the United States of America only abstained. The other resolutions were passed by the same 145 nations and only Israel and the United States voted against them.
This is not the first time that the UN has passed such evil resolutions with such a great majority of all the nations. However, this time the resolutions were made at a time when the terrorist Arafat and his so-called ?Palestinians? are attacking Israel and Jerusalem in a daily violence which is actually a war against Israel. The meanings of these resolutions is that all the nations support this war against the G?d and people of Israel.
These resolutions confirm what I wrote in previous articles that the Arab attacks with the support of all the nations are the first stages of the end-time war against Israel that was so clearly written by the prophet Ezekiel in chapters 38 and 39 where he called it the war of Gog and Magog.
Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, Thus says the Lord God; In that day when my people of Israel dwells securely, shall you not know it? And you shall come from your place from the farthest north, you, and many people with you, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army; And you shall come up against my people of Israel, like a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know me, when I shall be sanctified in you, O Gog, before their eyes. (Ezekiel 38:14-16)
The prophet Ezekiel destroys all the illusions of all the nations who believe that they can fight against G?d, His Word, and His prophetic end-time redemptional plans for Israel, in order to destroy Israel which has been the longtime goal of all the Islamic nations and their allies all over the world. He very clearly proclaims the Word of G?d in the ears of all of them.
And I will strike your bow from your left hand, and will cause your arrows to fall from your right hand. You shall fall upon the mountains of Israel, you, and all your bands, and the peoples that are with you; I will give you to the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. You shall fall upon the open field; for I have spoken it, says the Lord God. And I will send a fire on Magog, and among those who dwell securely in the islands; and they shall know that I am the Lord. And I will make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them profane my holy name any more; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel. (Ezekiel 39:3-7)
He prophesied the only prophetic end-time agenda of G?d and His love for Israel and to redeem Israel and give them the land which He promised them in an eternal covenant.

He (Yasser any Yasser ) doesn't address them as 'brothers' but cousins ;)
He recently claimed that Bin Laden is working against his interests.
But, could you enlighten here ? This G?d of Israel why is it spelt with question mark between a 'g' and a 'd' ?
And is a 'Lord of Israel' a Lord of two legs ? or what ! And how come the Israeli society differ in ethnicity ? Doesn't the land in dispute belong to the indigenious semitic people of the area as opposed to forced immigrants ?
Sad-Lad:
To answer part your question you have to review recent history. Not far from the moment after, 1973, when an Iraqi led arbanos' summit. At that gatherring Iraq proposed that the Arab countries use oil as a weapon against American lead imperialist countries supporting Israel. What you see now happening against arab/islamic countries is no less than a revenge or a vowed reprisal of what those sloth intended to inflict on against their 'enemies?'. "The enemies" even thought of occupying oil fields by the use of force. A quick or rapid deployment force was created and ever since they have been carrying joint-military-maneuvres with arab forces on the pretext of military training. In who interests ? G?d only would know ? Ask who watcheds whose performance during such excercises ? Who studies whose techniques of fighting and application of arms in their right place ? Who studies whose endurance and logistic preparations ? The list is long. Instead of making noises and leading innocent children into loosing wars arabs MUST compromise and come to terms with the rest of the world. Enough is enough and since Yasser does not want other self-claimed owners of the rights of arabs the game must be left for him to play and the rest of us shut down our radios/tv and stop reading 'news papers'. We should read fashion magazines instead and feel the life.

Do not ask what your country has done for you

Yes we need it but it should not be controlled by US.
Dark Project 27-01-03, 02:24 PM IceTea ,
What makes you think that United Nation is controlled By USA???
shamsery 27-01-03, 03:28 PM The U.N was founded with great aims for certain time and that time is over.
Desert_Sloath 27-01-03, 04:31 PM But were "aims" achieved or were 'ever' achieved and "abused" ?
Seems to me as if "aims" themselves had minds to be able to circumvent and return, which means UN also needs to have minds to circumvent to overcome aim's wits.

DP, sadlad in his first post mentioned two examples which are 2 out of million that US is practicing to force UN.
And next one will be that US will attack Iraq ignoring members in the UN calling for peace.
Well, from the political prospective i would agree that the UN is mostly a tool for the US,mainly, and other powerful countries to pass and force their poilitical issues.
The security council, has nothing to do with the +150 members of the UN if one of the ,so called ,most powerful countries rejected a resolution.
If one of the VETO holders rejects, then thats for all nations!! what an awful way to force such acts on smaller nations!
The UN assembly can be considered the only democratic place where the voice of each nation is heared, but sadly this assembly has no power to force any resolution as it is with the security council.
But if we try to look at it from other prospective sides, the UN is doing great in unpolitical issues. The UNESCO,FAO....etc are all doing great to support all countries around the world.
Education, health, business......etc are all fields that did gain by from the sub-organisations of the UN.
So in general i'd say that the UN is still working on the issues it has been found for. But there also exists some issues, political, that the UN can't have an influence on as long as the so called super powers have their big influence on the resolutions being made.
