The Muslim Students Association at Virginia Commonwealth University held weekly vigils last semester and kicked off its Unveiling Ignorance Lecture Series in November with "War Beyond Saddam: Reality Beyond the Rhetoric." More lectures are planned. And in March, some will walk out of class as part of Books Not Bombs, a national strike. College students across the country plan to skip class one day to protest the possible war.

"There seems to be a growing consensus on campuses that war is not the only answer," said Sohaib Mohiuddin, president of the Muslim Students Association at VCU. "We need to think about the repercussions, approach this sensibly and listen to the world consensus

But does it make a differnce??

The US has set its mind. There is going to be a war wether we want it or not, wether they find weapen or not, and wether thier citizens want it or not.

It is just a matter of time!!

You guys are so optimistic .. The situation is out of control and Bush has to prove something here the cost of shipping all the troops are coming out from the Tax's which the Americans are paying .
So how can he save his face ? He has to go into war and remove Saddam to prove to the Americans that he did not waste their money for notrhing .....

No doubt War is killing ... But My dear as you are the Moderator of Religion sabal .. it seems that you really treasure your life and forgot that we are only here to worship our God and forgot that the Hereafter is ( Khairun wa Abka) Everlasting peace .

God has created us to worship not to have cushy life and think of our economy( with Riba - interest) before thinking of it ARe we really serving Our God and live up to his expectations?

Yes War is hated by Our religion but let me remind you here of the Hadith " The one who do not fight for his/her right is like a dumb devil" .
