The current British / American military build up in the Gulf by is nothing but a very complicated dillema. For American administration the build up could have two objectives; (a) as a back up to diplomatic presure on Iraq administration (b) sent in to facilitate the change of Iraqi administration to pave way for 'a pro-Anglo`American administration.
The Anglo`American move threatens to use force against 'Iraqi people' something which the 'world community' sees no justification for. Since the cease fire after Iraqi's withdrawal from Kuwait, both British and American administrations have continued to monopolize their military aggression against Iraq under the pretext of 'protecting' Iraqi nationals on the 'no fly zone' areas both in the North and South of Iraq. Let us face it, the NFZ is maintained and controlled by the Anglo`Americanos, therefore without fully awareness of the so called United Nation, over what goes on in those areas regarding who provekes who.
If it took coallition of nations to remove Iraqis occupation of Kuwaiti it is therefore necessary that the administrations of the NFZ be administered by a coallition of neutral nations. This would render fearness to both the Iraqis and the world community. After all Iraqis were condemned by the world community over their injustice to their occupation of Kuwait.
The great dillema therefore poses in the following forms; (a) that the Anglo`American forces are not intended to do more than just scarring Iraqi administration to succumb to the so called UN demands (b) that if such force is not used once in place the outcome is going to present the Iraqi administration with heroic achievements. This would render both the British and Americans chickens in the eyes of world community where political diplomacy is concerned. Therefore which of the two Americans or the British would bear the responsibility of tactical miscalculations ? would British claim that they had initially been mislead by cowboyish diplomacy or would the americans blame the failure to the ageing british far-sightedness ?
Asuming Anglo American vests no ill intention over the region apart from posing as tool to support diplomatic solution over Iraqi issue, there could be a serious outcome in the form of 'deliberate' ignition started by a 'third' party for serious events to turn up. American forces are notorious on "fiendly" fire when carrying joint military operations. Presently there are many forces in the region and if these do not have amongst them a neutral monitors something seriously is going to happen and this could turn the whole event into a dramatic consequence similar to that seen by the world after Durban World gathering. To be more clear, a scenario like this could easily happen:
~A certain "friendly" ship could fire a missle onto a "friendly" fridgate which decides that it is an act of the Iraqi and therefore retaliates before establishing the source of fire ~.
What then is likely to happen ? The world is going to accept that it was Iraq which started the incident and at this stage no matter what Iraqis may say no one is likely to sympathize with them. We have seen it in the case of Afghanistan and if the 'world community' cares to prevent such incident. I'd suggest each war ship carries a team of neutral umpires with responsibility of monitoring firing activities of each firing unit.
Failing to do so, the world could be faced with undesirable / unexpected events that could easily get out of control.
We now know that it is the trios British, Israelis and Americans who are 'happily' ready to conqur Iraq. GOD only knows, what situation Iraqi nationals are going to find themselves in, but not much of a difference than Palestinians. Obviously, the Zionist Expansion. Though I do not believe in conspiracy but things are happenning as if are from a "prepared scenario".
Can we imagine what the arab world is likely to be without a "mad" Iraq ? in (Oman) arabic we have a saying أسبر على مجنونك عن يجيك أجن منه i.e, "the devil you know is better than the one you don't", I hope we can exchange ideas on this subject so that if any deliberate incident happens we can return to compare our notes.
~In the name of Allah, may the innocent lives of the people of Iraq be spared~ Amin
