hii ppl ,,, I recieve recently strange emails ..it is about 46k ..
they come through arabic hotmails...like ahmd ,,zeyana,etc..
but the contents about screen savers ,,,I never opened them ,,afraid of virus ,,,
if any can help ..

But my guess is that as they are arabic names of ppl u don't know then they might be ppl who had been effected by the virus and the mail is spreading based on their mail diary.

That would be my guess, i don't have any relied on source concerning this!

and as evilio said..its from people infected by it..and it spreads by address books..or even forward email addressess..i suppose..

The Yaha-K virus is activated when the attachment of the infected e-mail is opened. If the preview setting in the e-mail program is on, the virus is activated immediately, without the attachment being opened.

You better update ur virus definitions if they are not navy and do a scan.... else visit the page below to download a special program for that and for more info on the yaha virus...

I also get emails with the same descriptions :eek:

I get @ least 3 of them per day..

bimmi...well..same advice to you....do not open them!!...update anti virus u did open!..then download cleaning tools..from the above links..i havent tried them but they should do.
