This started happeneing recently..

people dont get my msn messages promptly, and it signs me off frequently..

does anyone face the same ?!

could it be because I'm behind a firewall? :lost:

dont you just hate that!.....well.....its about time we allllllll shift to yahoo..msg...:D its quite nice....

bimmi....its more due to the msn server....and yes...i get that alot...and most of who i know around here....

hmm..but as you are behind a firewall...have you tried to input the proxy server in the settings....it can keep connection alive...or the firewall settings..depends on how it is setup over there...

DD, would you please elaborate more on this?

it could be teh reason, as I have tried checking msn from a different place and it worked perfectly well..

sure....hmmm the best you can do...is ask your friends who they seem to be able to open..msn..without ...any problems..while they live in the same place as you are.

they would have an idea...about whats the proxy server of your place....is....

if they didnt know..and the msn did work..then check here:

(in Internet Explorer)

1- Go to Tools.

2- click on Internet options

3- Connections tab...there under settings ...you'll find proxy settings / or under lan settings...now that depends on the connection you have at your place....

best of luck....and let me know if you had any questions about this.
