Blair tried to play in the Sharon's backyard. But only to find himself charged with tresspassing.

Blair vows to continue kidding with Sharon's affairs, but agree to do it at a distance. PLO and ILP leaders would do their flirtation with Blair over the phone. Meaning they will communite their play at a distance lest "father" Sharon sees them.

Sharon knows this and is happy to let it go as long as Blair does not mess up things. Blair in turn is no fool. This smart young British PM knows his horses. It is always the Israelis who are the slow to understand their very benefit in such efforts. When the desert storms sets down it will be only sloth who will find they need a little bit of rain to wash themselves at an expence of buying uniliver products of course. In the end it is Israelis including Sharo to appreciate what Blair was doing is in their services.

What is the use of the meeting if Sharon has managed to stop Palestinian officials to travel to London ?

And if the meeting is going to take place through televised system what kind of decision is expected to be achieved and how useful it is to the Palestinian and Zionists or else ?

If Madrid, Oslo etc, and before that UN Resolutions have failed to deliver what would such a talk achieve ?

So not even UK dares to upset the Zionists

Now what the hell can UK do to the zionists, if the US can't do it!!

It would be more logical to say that the zionists are pressing on blair to make a meeting not the other way round!

US officials can't press the zionists to do something because of the strong jewish loube in the congress! I think the number has increased to 72 jewish members after the last elections!

The brits had already announced that the meeting is to help the PLO to arrange it's INTERNAL facilities.....etc

In other word they are not getting into the main point of the Game, i'd rather call it, that is being played by the US and the zionist entity.

Holding a meeting about people that are not with them!!!
Didn't sharon make a fool out of Blair?! The PM of one of the 5 stongest countries in the world? What could Blair do to oppose this...Nothing! Televised meeting! well then why did they meet if they can do it that way?!
Or is blair trying to show his people that he is not going into war on Mr.Bush's commands. But actually he can do something by him self?

Evilio, you are right, I oversighted the strong driving power behind the USA and UK administrations. I jumped to conclude United Kingdom had independent mind to decide things by itself. Perhaps I have been blind folded by the circumstances that this Great Brittain choses to display it's concern for Palestinians each time there is some sort of a crisis in the region.

What a shame that this Great Nation should side with evils at the expence of its moral commitments towards its tradional friends in the arab world.

I am waiting to see, GOD forbid, with whom the UK shall side when the 'eagles' in American administration ever decide to go for the Saudis, the country which was, recently, short of being listed as 'axis of evil'. Where there is a smoke there is fire.

I do not trust this meeting unless I see 'concrete', tangible, material, constructive work by the Britishers. I very much view this and past meetings called by the Britishers as a ploy. They are just playing with arabs' astuteness.
